DH and DD1 has. Be careful with dosages. Magnesium poop isn't fun. It's good stuff though. Are you taking any other mag supplements?
lol. I will be careful. I take 1/4 tsp now. And, the citric acid I could skip entirely. I don't need fizz or more acid. But, it's good. I was taking an oral mag supplement sometimes, but it always hurt my gut, so I switched to Ancient Minerals mag flakes baths, which I liked.
I really like how calm, with energy I feel. I'm actually able to make a plan and then go do it. I crashed pretty hard at night, though.
The thing that always worries me is that I read that magnesium feeds Lyme, which my doc thinks is true, but ym Lyme literate dentist thinks is total b.s. He asked, 'How can magnesium feed Lyme? It's an element. It's not a sugar.' Good point.
We would give it to DD about 30 minutes before bed to help her sleep. DH takes his supps on his own schedule (he has a lot of them and meds). His LLMD feels that you need to get your body in the best possible shape/form in order for it to fight Lyme and help you heal. Which is why he did the NutraEval test and suggests/tells you supplements you should take. It helps your body get in prime fighting shape He practices Integrative Medicine and is really great.

It has the opposite effect on me, it knocks me out, no energy. I took it in the morning once not realizing and I couldn't get off the couch, I was gonzo. I take between 1/4-1/2 tsp every night or every other night. It puts me right to sleep. Ditto on the GI issues though, it's why I take it every other. Too much and I wouldn't be able to leave the house on time in the morning.

I've been trying it for a week, and I'm not sure how I feel. Maybe I'm not taking enough? I began with 1/2 tsp. before bed, and the first night or two I slept horribly...like wired, almost. I'm up to a full tsp. before bed, but I still don't know that I'm sleeping any better, and I don't feel more energized the next day.

I don't notice any changes in how I feel during the day, at all. I take it before bed (as part of a multi pronged approach to sleep) and it knocks me out. I could do without though, I only take it every other night or so. The GI issues are too much for me to take it nightly.
Maybe give it another week, and could you journal? That might sound over the top, but I've found that sometimes I don't notice things unless I start journaling it. Then I'm all, oh yeah, look, I woke up not feeling like total zombie on those days, huh, xyz really is helping. Or something like that.
I have the raspberry lemonade and it tastes great. I used to dissolve it in warm water then add to cold, but I'm lazy now and just stir it in the cold water. I don't know if I'm not getting full benefit on account of that or if it doesn't really matter.
