This new job has a policy against "charm bracelets, other jewelry, or clothing accessories that create unusual, audible disturbances." Time to revise your employee manual.
I once worked with a lady who wore bells because her husband wanted to know where she was at all times (she was very open about it). Management finally asked her not to wear the bells at work.

We have a lady that wears a necklace that was made out of a spoon that was turned it into a bell. It makes a loud jingling noise as she walks up and down the hall. She loves it. She is also 65+ and cannot hear it!!!
Haha, she did make jewelry out of coke can tabs, so who knows?
I met up with an old friend who told me she spent a year and a half as a traveler and she sold her car for a dollar... to a dude named Spatula. I couldn't help but think of you!
And obnoxious jewelry at work is never acceptable. It's not cute, it makes everyone hate you.
Yup. My company specifies that women cannot wear mens bowties as hair accessories.
Wait, why?
No idea. But my guess is someone came in wearing one and looked ridiculous, and they made it a rule. I work at a bank with like 100K US employees. Its very bizarre and so specific that something must have happened, somewhere.
