I got another early morning run in and came back to a quiet house. I love this.
Off to work before we go to the transportation museum and DS will go on his first train ride. He's SO excited. We got a Groupon for $25 for 4 people-admission to the museum and a 25 minute train ride. Not bad!
My crazy week of work travel is oooooover!! I plan on being lazy with the baby today.
H told me this am he may need to go to a work conference in Orlando this spring and my first thought was DISNEY!!1!!. What have you all done to me? Lol
Swim lessons in a couple hours. I am thinking of dropping Addy off at y care and getting 30 min on treadmill before them. I am on a 10 day streak of getting my 10000 steps and weekends are sometimes hard, pushing the stroller often doesn't count my steps.
I'm watching Frozen with DS while DH sleeps. Only plan today is Costco/trader Joe's/target - will hit 2 of those, just not sure which yet.
Bfn yesterday after my first ivf. Argh. I'm feeling pretty sad about it, but I did all my crying Thursday night in anticipation of Friday's beta.
Took DS bowling last night for the first time and he proclaimed it "supertastic!" Figured we might as well keep ourselves busy doing something fun that I wasn't allowed to do for the last few weeks. It was fun and a good way to unwind.
B woke up at 6 but we ignored hoping he would go back to bed. He might have because we didn't hear him again til 8. In that time he also managed to rip the insulation off one of his windows. :-(
The kids were up before 7, but they happily played by themselves for an hour or so while DH and I lounged in bed. Then a customer called at 8 on the dot and DH's been on his laptop trying to fix a machine remotely ever since. I made pancakes and the kids are content.
We have a birthday lunch a bit later but that's all that's on the agenda for the whole weekend. Two weeks till DS1's birthday party so that's our deadline for getting the family room painted. I want to work on the ynab stuff at one point and I need to finish up the meal plan for the week.
I took all three kids to Kroger to pick up just a few things yesterday and it was pretty awful. The older two want to chase each other and run around and the baby wants to wander around and not be restrained and protests LOUDLY if he's not allowed to do that. So yeah. I'd like to just go by myself at one point lol.

Baby woke up crying at 3:30 for the third morning in a row. She wouldn't fall back sleep on me so I put her back in her crib and stayed in her room until she fell asleep. Floor sleeping isn't comfortable. She is eating blueberries while my husband continues to sleep. RAGE. He will be waking up soon so I can get a couple hours of sleep.
so what's the summary on damnation on ML? I have noticed her strange SD posts the past few months. Looks like people are calling her out for being a catfish and/or not listening to any advice that is repeatedly given. Is that pretty much it?
I missed the post where she said she uses Google Translate to fight with her husband but wtf.
I am in bed while DH decontaminates the house. He is feeling better and has been fever free for over 24 hours now so I'm hoping the flu is behind him. I have to pick up my Rx for tamiflu since I'm being treated for exposure. DD is overnight at my parents' house so that we can sanitize a bit and generally keep her away from H. And I'm told that my MIL is still coming to visit overnight despite DH having the flu and her not having a flu shot. She's crazy.
We played with fire for 2 weeks by hanging out with our friends while a stomach virus went through their family. Thursday I caught the son's toothbrush in dd2's mouth. Guess what we found in the crib when we went to cover her up? All of her dinner. Long night. I didn't know that she had that much in her. Now she just ate her weight in oatmeal. It's probably about to get ugly.
Dd1 and I are supposed to go with friends to a play today. Is it terrible to still go as long as we're still feeling okay?
Baby was up from 5:30-7, got him back to sleep and went back to sleep myself. At 8:30, one of DD's friends' moms called about a play date and woke me up. Waaaaaa!
She also sounded really surprised that I was "still" sleeping. Uh, is it me or is 8:30 pretty early to call someone on a Saturday?
I'm wearing fair isle print pj pants from Christmas. I think this is acceptable grocery store ware as printed leggings are really popular, right? Cuz I'm not putting jeans on to go to store at 7 am.
I only hear about people leaving the house in pjs online. Don't you get cold? I put on pants over pjs or leggings or long underwear to go out.
I've been on work travel since Jan 4, with one long weekend back at home. Our project completion was already delayed a couple days, and today was looking iffy, but we got it done this morning! I've been up all night and I'm going to fly home later today. I'm so happy!

I'm calling it - DD has slept at least 8 hours every night for the last week. Last night she slept 10.5 (8pm-6:30am), fed, back to sleep for another 2ish.

Lol not in my circle. Most of my kids' friends are up at dawn. At least by 7 am.
So I have to drop my leased car off today and pick up my new car. This is after having two big arguments with the gm of the dealership about the lease return. (I'm being charged $1000 for wear and tear even though I bought their protection package for $600,that supposedly means that I can walk away and not get charged anything). Gm accused me of not reading the contract and said "consumers need to read things before they sign" basically accusing me of being an idiot.
Dh phoned up yesterday to arrange the time and spoke to a guy. He said I'm icedgem's husband and the guy was like - I know. I'm totally known as the bitch there. I have a feeling its going to be super awkward.
Ugh... My aunt is watching DS tonight so DH and I can go to a work thing for DH. But DH was a big old d-bag the other night and I have no desire to act like I like him tonight.

Fair enough. But man, I was so glad I was able to get back to sleep when DS did. Usually, once he's up for the day, I'm up no matter what.
I'm ready for DH to get home from his business trip. I need to work but it's impossible with DD. I'm very glad that they have a crazy amount of business spread throughout the country and are growing despite the oil problems in Houston but, damn, I don't like when he travels.
OH, and my sister is pregnant!!!!! It is very new, she just found out Thursday. She did IVF and we were all waiting on pins and needles to find out So happy for her and so excited to be an aunt again. She has a stepdaughter so this is her first pregnancy.

I've throughly read as I have with the previous threads of hers. I can without question state that she is indeed a ying liar who lies.
The whole thing is fucking weird but my biggest question is how and why someone would marry someone that they cannot carry on an actual, in-depth conversation with bc they can't speak the same language and then neither makes a huge effort to get any better at the other language. It just boggles the mind.

I hope this is true. The whole thing is just too weird and sad otherwise.
I slept like crap last night. I handled dd1's 2 AM growing pains, which I normally don't do bc I have a very difficult time falling back asleep after a MOTN wake up. But H is super super jet lagged so I did him a solid. And then was up 2 hours, and up again to kid noises a couple hours later.
My children are both awake and I am laying in bed ignoring them. Winning.

And then purposely bring a child into that.
I don't know that it's not real but I do think that perhaps she is very naive and not terrible intelligent.

I would say that you were napping vs. "still sleeping" since you were up from 5:30-7. Small point, but I see it as different from sleeping in.
I keep my cell phone on silent all the time except when M is at daycare because MIL has a bad habit of texting early in the morning. I also have the ringer on the bedroom location of our home phone turned off (living room phone ringer is on). DON'T INTERRUPT MY SLEEP.
I'm doing some work at the Starbucks on campus today. I'm going incognito in my college sweatshirt and yoga pants. Doubtful that anyone would mistake me for a college student, LOL.
