I am still not fully recovered from getting my IUD in on Friday. I biked a few miles on Saturday, came home and laid in the fetal position on the floor for a while. Same result after a mile run today. Between my cold, normal period and IUD, I've taken too much Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen. I've had a really upset stomach, so I don't want to take anymore pain relievers.

Oh no! That sounds awful!
Have you tried a heating pad? That helped a lot when I got a paraguard.
Also, is it within the realm of acceptable to have these symptoms for so long after insertion? Would it be worth a call to your doctor?
F: run 3 miles S: rest Sun: 8 miles of hilly trails. Dear lord, trails are a different animal. It took almost two hours, and this morning my body feels like I got hit by a truck, but in a good way, lol.

Booze! Only halfway joking. It does help relax that smooth muscle.

My doctor said that I could expect cramping for 2 days afterwards, so I'm not concerned enough to call yet. I'm mostly fine when I am not exercising.

Fri - rest Sat - 3.16 miles of speed intervals Sun - total including warmup and cool down was 5.55 miles. Got a 1:05 min pr (25:03) at my 5k, got first in my age group, and had a course pr of over 9 mins. A guy from my running club pushed me the last tenth of a mile and then we went back out and to cool down ran in melmel48. One of my favorite races I think.
Notice how slow I am? Me strugling to the end was a cool down run for Michelle and our two friends.
