I've taken wine into the shower before, because why not. It's acceptable in the bathtub.
I've also brushed my teeth before but I don't do that regularly. Usually it's when I'm running late and am try to get ready faster by multitasking.
I do have talk to my cat too. I have one who is terrified of the shower and cries and paws at the door when I'm in there. I think she hates her mom being stuck in a glass box of water. She also tries to get all the water off me when I get out and makes toweling off complicated as she tries to give wet mom a cat bath.
I think brushing your teeth in the shower is gross. I am dribbling toothpaste and crap down myself. And yes, it gets washed away, but it seems messy and doesn't save more time. But then, I hate brushing my teeth and I hate toothpaste. I just do it right before I get in the shower.
I do wash my face and pee, though. Washing your face with something that foams and then rinses off seems like as much of a PITA out of the shower as brushing your teeth in the shower.

I like a steamy shower, it seems that if I washed my face in the shower I would still want to wash it afterwards because then it wouldn't feel clean it would feel steamyish. lol i know that is not a word but you know what I mean.
Why is this weird? It saves time, and I'm just standing there anyway until the water warms up.
Are you standing in the shower whilst it warms?
Versus turning the shower on letting it warm, brushing teeth in sink. Or cleaning...I've taken to cleaning while I wait for the water to warm.
Kind of. My shower warms up quickly, but it's finicky so it takes a while to get the temp right. Plus I have a lot of hair and I want it to be nice and wet.

I wash my face in te shower. But I'm lazy and often sleep with my makeup on.
Shower beer isn't really feasible with our stupid shower stall but if I really want one, I'll use the guest bath, which has a shower over tub and thus has ledges to hold my beer.

Lol that brushing your teeth in the shower is gross but peeing is not.

Also if you wash your face in the shower, do you also dry it with the same towel you dry your body with? And if so, how often do you change your towels?
Yes I realize these questions may put me on the spreadsheet beside PennyPenny.

I dry my face first. I HATE having a wet face. I get so pissed when I wash at the sink and discover that I forgot a towel and have to drip all the way to the linen closet.

You have no idea what kind of issue I have with toothpaste. Lol. Urine is NDB comparatively!

Yes. And usually about once a week.
I figure my bath towel is cleaner than the bathroom hand towel. I generally use it once a day. I'm clean when I use it and I'm the only one who uses it.
The hand towel, OTOH, gets used multiple times per day by both H and me.
We don't have a place to hang separate "face" and "hand" towels.
I have pretty kickass skin, so I think this method is working for me.
At the risk of looking like a wierdo, I save the water while waiting for my shower to heat up. I use a 2-gallon bucket, and use the tub tap to fill it. By the time it is filled, the water is hot. Later in the day, I use that water to flush the toilet. Considering how little I am actually at home, it really helps me save on water.
I have a separate hair and face towel and a rest of me towel. Face gets dried off and hair gets loosely turbaned (yes, I know, frizz, curl pattern, etc.) and then I dry and wrap the rest of me.

You're not a weirdo. This is what we're supposed to be doing to conserve water.
Shampoo, condition, wash body with loofah and body soap, shave if I'm not feeling to lazy, have fake arguments with people in my head.
I love you. I also have fake arguments while driving. Except then I'll actually talk out loud. thank god for Bluetooth being a thing so people in adjacent cars don't think I'm nuts having these animated conversations while alone in my car.

Had to do this when our well was dying. Of course we were also taking Sea Showers and doing as little as possible in there.
Now that our new well is hooked up, I can finally use the massaging shower head as it was meant to be used. Get your damn minds of out the gutter--for loosening up the sore shoulder muscles.

I don't understand why this question is directed only to shower-face-washers. Don't non-face washers have this problem too?
Even when I don't wash my face in the shower, my face still gets wet.
