I hate the feeling every time I have to do something to WORK at getting pregnant, whether it be giving myself shots or shoving progesterone up my vag. it's just so unfair to have to go through this shit without anything to show for it. /pitypartyforone
Mushe it takes a few weeks to used to doing everything myself but eventually I get a schedule down. I'm just glad that he'll be in a place where we can FaceTime on a regular basis.

I bet! That's good, that you'll be able to FaceTime.
This reminds me of my eye roll worthy moment today...an on,one acquaintance was complaining that with all the snow, her H's commute is so long this week that she knows what it's like to be a single mom, preparing and eating dinner alone with her baby. REALLY? Is that what single parents think define what's it like to be a single parent? Her H still does dropoff every day, btw. So, ya know, being able to leave for work when your baby is sleeping = not a single parent.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

OMG! She wouldn't know what do if she truly were a single parent! She is very lucky that her H does the drop off and is there every night for dinner. When my ex and I got divorced I still didn't really consider myself a single parent. DD would go with her dad on weekends and he'd keep her on nights if I had to work late. He was always there for her if needed. A true single parent has to literally do everything and has very little to no help raising the child. That type of "woe is me" attitude drives me crazy!

I couldn't believe it either! What a selfish jerk. I hope that your H's time away isn't too long. <3

He'll be gone 12 months. We've already done 11 months right when we met and 9 months (12/12 though 9/13) since we've been married. It'll go by quickly.
1. Where are you in your journey? Sarted trying January 2014
2. Are you testing this week? OPKs
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? I normally O around CD17-19 but we started EOD CD10 just in case there are any changes to my cycle post-op. My surgery was on CD3 of my cycle (2 cycles ago), so I did not track anything until this time. so far negative opk, as expected. I really hate the TTC process.
4. What is your favorite winter comfort food? Mac & cheese and/or mashed potatoes
Where are you in your journey? TTC#2 since Oct. '12, 3 losses, CD44
2. Are you testing this week? Nope
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? I went and did my blood work today for my recurrent pregnancy loss test. They took 25 vials of blood. I knew the list of testing was extensive but I guess I wasn't expecting that many. Also, in other news I starting spotting today so hopefully a new cycle is starting. We will probably have to avoid this one too since my doctor told me that we couldn't get pregnant until my test results get back. I'm hoping it to doesn't take them too long.
4. What is your favorite winter comfort food? I love soups and stews with cornbread. My mom makes the best beef stew and honey cornbread (my grandpa called it corn cake). You just want to curl up and sleep afterwards.

TTC #1, Cycle #1, CD4. Not really believing its really here. I've been charting to TTA since we got married six years ago. I have been taking a medication that was incompatible with pregnancy, but am finally off of it and we're ready to start our journey. A little worried about a sometimes-short LP, but we'll see.
2. Are you testing this week?
nope. I'll be looking for a St Patrick's Day test.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.?
I'm a fraternal twin, and secretly hoping to have twins myself.

Update- today's cd16 and I got a +opk and after a fairly stressful and slightly dramatic (on my end) run around we WILL be going in tomorrow for IUI #1!!
I'm peeing my pants excited and terrified at the same time. LOL at "not getting my hopes up" I mean I know this is not a guarantee but this is the first time in months that I've had ANY hope, even with perfect timing. FX!!!
ETA- thank goodness I started opks early because this is the earliest I've ever gotten a +, last month it was CD24! Freaking body...
[1. Where are you in your journey? This is our 10th cycle ttc #2. Today is CD14
2. Are you testing this week? Nope. Just waiting.
3. Any thoughts, vents, etc.? I've been ovulating on day 17/18 the past 9 cycles and I have had no ewcm. This cycle I ovulated on cd14 and I had great CM! I'm getting my hopes up way too high, I'm sure.
4. What is your favorite winter comfort food? Lentil soup. Yummmmm.
