C is 10 wks old already! I can't believe how fast time is going. He had his 2 month appointment last week and gained 2 1/2 lbs (still only 9 lbs 10.3 oz and gaining "right along his small little curve" as his doctor put it!)! He did well with his shots (for the most part) and has been sleeping great ever since (slept 10 1/2 hrs straight two nights ago and 9 hrs last night)! He's much less fussy/colicky and smiles and coos a ton! We are finally getting up the courage to take him places and it's nice to get out of the house.
E is 11 months old and I don't know where the time has gone! She is such a fun little girl these days and I get to spend a lot of my time at home with her. I can't believe we are planning her first birthday!

SAY WHAT?!? omg. not possible.
I know, right??? I can't believe it either! Or that we are 17 weeks away from meeting her baby sister!
I love seeing everyone's stories! I'm 35w4 days now and am having a lot of Braxton hicks. I'm ready to be done but would like to have a couple more weeks!
KaraOrNot, thinking of you and Ollie. Hope his surgery is a success!
DS is 8 months and 20 lbs. He's happy and bouncy and just started crawling. I'm so not ready for the mobile phase!
The helmet he's wearing is to treat his flat head/plagiocephaly, which is related to his torticollis, and for which he's seeing a physical therapist weekly. Both the PT and the helmet has helped a ton. I just painted the zebra stripes a week ago, when he's more than halfway through the 10-week treatment, heh.
I have been busy. Finally back at work, which is actually nice, but there is so much to do when I get home that I don't have much GBCN time.
Ollie is, IMHO, is still super cute. His big heart surgery is next week and I am terrified. He has only been in my life for a short period of time, but it hurts so much to think of him not in it. We have been told that there is a high success rate, but it is still open heart surgery and any risk is too high for me right now. Plus, this kid has not had the best of luck up so far. This is not a good time to be a pessimist.
Is Ollie's surgery today? You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.
dana2006 DD had a doc band for her lopsided head from torticollis! It seems like so long ago, lol! She had it for 8 weeks, when she was 6-7 months. The zebra stripes are cute! I couldn't ever decide how to decorate it so it ended up with a single butterfly sticker on the back. She's 14 months now and I just ended her PT because it doesn't really seem like she needs it. She still tilts a little when she's focused on something, but her range of motion is fine.
