Within 10 minutes of my arrival, I wanted to throat punch a coworker. The unspoken rule is that, first one here unlocks the door and brings in the newspaper. (We have access through a side door with a key fob.) So, this morning I get here and I don't see the newspaper anywhere in the building, so while 1st coworker is getting something off the printer I asked him if he unlocked the front door. His reply, "Oh, I guess S isn't coming in today and the door needs to be unlocked." All I could think was, "Why couldn't you just unlock the stupid door when you got here?! You love sucking up to S every chance you get so, you were going to make him unlock the door and get the paper?!" Same coworker has previously had no issue making sure everyone knew that I was the one who didn't unlock the door if we got here at the same time.

Had a promising-ish interview last night. A mom with 3 kids (youngest is 12), her middle son is adopted and came with a host of special needs so she understands PF's needs and she's comfortable with therapists. She *is* looking for something with more hours in less days but would be willing to take the position until the baby is born. It was nice to meet with someone who understands the immediate need.
Without fail, I've been waking up at 4:50am every morning this week. PF slept like a dream last night, I was tossing and turning all night.
I've been thinking about life and how very strange it is. Too bad I had no brain for philosophy. The Meaning Of Life has been on my mind a lot.
Pretty much everything is closed today and there's nothing on the ground where I am. I guess the suburbs got some snow/ice though. I haven't been in the office all week and I'm feeling horribly cooped up. I need to get out of this house.
Oh good lord. I'm watching my upstairs neighbor try to drag her very old dog down the stairs. She's in pajama pants, has a cigarette in her mouth, and is dragging this poor dog who clearly is having a ton of trouble getting down the stairs. She needs to pick the poor guy up and carry him. Watching her do this all week is making me angry.
I thought I was getting a belly, but then I pooped. Back to normal.
That'll happen until you're about 16-20 weeks.
A couple of weeks ago 2.0 was in such a position that I looked like I was about to pop. Then s/he moved and my tummy went back to "normal" for 28 weeks
Oh, another random, yesterday was National Clam Chowder Day and I celebrated by making Clam Chowder. It wasn't my best version of it, but it was still really tasty.
My poor cats are going to be cooped up in my bedroom all day today. Two of the windows in my apartment are being replaced today so I have to lock them in for their safety.
Handsome men in scrubs make my day. There was a new anesthesia guy here yesterday, he showed up in a suit--oh mama.
I'm still working on coffee cup #1. NEED MOAR!
DD's teacher showed me her assessment scores, they compared her to her peers nationally and she's well above average
Looking good in scrubs is hard! I always have too-short pant legs and bagginess around my crotch (from trying to size up in hopes of longer inseams). Grumble, grumble.
I know! I would always get the bagginess at my ankles or hips. I'm too short for them.
I was up until 2:30 playing some stupid game on my new iPad. I totally lost track of time. The baby woke up at 4am to eat and was up for almost an hour. All the coffee today.
This baby is so happy and smiley all the time. She's hysterical. She laughs so hard at A it sounds like she's going to cry. She's also started to yell and I think she just likes hearing herself making noise.
H got horribly sick after dinner last night At first we thought food poisoning, but it would've been from what he ate for lunch since we both had the same dinner and I didn't get sick.
Does food poisoning tend to hit immediately or does it take a few hours? He's been taking tuna (mixed with ranch dressing) for lunch, but he hasn't been putting it in a cooler/refrigerator. They're outside all day this week so he figured it would stay cold enough. He didn't have any trouble until last night.
He was able to keep toast and gatorade down this morning, so he still went to work. I feel bad for him. He was up all night

Uh, he needs to put that shit in a cooler. I don't take chances with fish or dairy based products.
I just got back to internetland - no power at home and no cell service. I'm finally fed up and going to switch my service at lunch because having NO SERVICE during ice/snow storms is NOT OKAY. Ugh. I've had too much coffee today. TOO MUCH COFFFFFEEEEE.

How is switching service going to help? Isn't it weather related?

No I just have crappy service in general. I cannot make phone calls or barely get texts in my apartment and surrounding areas.
