I messed with all sorts of highlights, lowlights, contrast, whatever. And I even changed it here to darker;
It's still a white and gold dress. The white is now just whiter. And the gold is golder.
This one is blue and black. The OP is still white and gold.
This is fascinating.
eta- Oh my goodness! If I just see the top third on my screen, it's the dirty white. When I continue to scroll down, it transforms to blue and black. Ha!
HOLY SHIT. I have thought you were all on crack with the blue and black, but the scrolling did it. HOW? It changed in front of my eyes.
In the car, on my phone, it was blue and black and I thought you bitches were crazy!
Then I got home and it was white and gold and I got freaked out. Then it faded into the blue and black color WHILE I WAS LOOKING AT IT!!! And now I want to know how and why?
mp but my phone settings aren't the same as my laptop and my power saver settings are different than my HP settings. I've switched between them all, all gold and white except the blue and black that ginger posted.
@jezebel pooh8402 @trickybob @stilljustash - hash it out between the four of you. It's evenly split.
I'm just saying - monitors can show completely differently to each of you because your settings aren't the same. lol.
But DH and have been seeing different all along, on the same monitors. And I'm seeing the same no matter what monitor or device I'm looking at. ginger's post is the first time we agreed.
It has nothing to do with your settings and is 100% about our brain/eyes. I can decide to see one color and see it. There is no way that has anything to do with the settings.

My brain sucks at getting talked into things. lol I just tried telling it to see blue and black and I can't. Does this mean I resist persuasion?
I don't like @stilljustash 's explanation (even if it makes sense). My husband will now spend the rest of my lifetime telling me how how functioning his eyes are compared to mine! Booo

I saw this when it was first posted as white and gold. Then, someone just posted it on FB and it was blue and black. I cannot unsee the blue and black now!
