Did she get into the integrated one you were wanting?
We aren't even done with the evaluations yet so I don't know. We have the final one today. And then we still have the developmental pediatrician appt and then we have to wait for our meeting to find out what she gets. The stressful part is that we owe a large chunk of cash to the other preschool we have her enrolled in and it's due 3/1.
UGH! That sucks! Why does the timing never work out on shit like that? I'm assuming the large chunk of cash is non-refundable too?

It's non refundable but we are going to ask for a potential refund, we just need a few more weeks. They might say no.

Good luck!!
I am glad we have everything set up now, but it's a major pain in the ass - especially having to have the evaluations done and IEPs drawn up. Now I just worry if it's going to actually help his speech as much as I hope it will! There's always something.

Last weekend we had to postpone Annabelle's bday party bc of snow. It is tomorrow, but as of last night we had to move the party to our house (it was going to be at the cabin) bc of snow again. So, at 11:00 tomorrow I will have 20 people at my house. For a party that all I have done to prepare for is make the cake. OMG.... Thank goodness for my cleaning lady who squeezed me in for an emergency visit.
Ahhhhhh... I am not ready for this. But I did make the cake, I will AW that in a min .
Super busy day at work today prepping for the A.C.T test on Tuesday. We have no school on Monday for Casimir Polaski day so I need to have everything ready to go!!
I stopped by a new coffee shop in town today but they out way too much syrup in it.
Tomorrow my h and I are going on an overnight to a resort in WI. Super excited especially with all the sickness in our house that went on.
Ugh. I ordered a bunny sweatshirt for milas party and etsy defaulted to my old shipping address.
So I had to call my previous neighbor (she's in her 80s and not very nice or easygoing but loves us luckily). She said she doesn't speak to them (not surprising) but was able to give me his number. He text back that he has it, so now I just have to go and get it from the old house today or tomorrow.
Annoying, but could have been so so much harder, so I'm glad.
A got into our choice preschool! Yes! I have to call back and tell them which days we want. I'm pretty sure we're doing 2 mornings a week at preschool and then 1 morning a week at Museum School. She's going to love it!
It's already snowing and it's supposed to continue most of the day. Up to two inches today. In Texas!
Does the amazing race start tonight or next week That's something to look forward to
There was an Amazing Race on our DVR from either Tues or Wed this week - not sure if it was the first episode or more of just a preview show. But I believe that there is another episode on tonight as well.
Home with matilda. So unprofessional to always be taking these damn days off with sick kids
She's totally fine too but of course I can't bring her anywhere fun because she could still be contagious? Ugh. Also she woke at 545 and woke william too. Exhausted. Cannot believe it's only 930
I go back to work on Monday. I am so sad. I feel like a brat complaining because it is only two days a week but I really have a hard time leaving my babies wheb they are small. H also wants me to go to three days a week if the new program takes off and that sounds awful
In other news I've been watching Mad Men and saw TrudyCampbell! I have so many questions though! SO MUCH SMOKING. SO MUCH DRINKING. SO MUCH CHEATING.
It is sosososo cold out! I had to sub at 7:30 this morning and it was -16. I parked pretty close to the door and my face seriously hurt by the time I got inside. I had to run to the door it was hurting so bad. I feel bad for the kids that had to walk/get the bus this morning. I think it's supposed to warm up a little after today thank god. Also I'm at the high school and there is a girl wearing flip flops wtf.
Calvin made his first consonant sound today! Ba ba!! I've been stressing about his lack of consonants, so I think I'm way more excited about this than a normal person.

I'm really sore this morning and have a pretty bad headache. I guess that's not really unexpected, though. I've got a call into my PCP to see if she wants me to come in. I'm guessing, and hoping, that there's no real concern. She'll probably just suggest muscle relaxers and pain killers, which I already have.
I am proud of how may has been doing with the potty and today I want to go to trader joes which is 1/2 hour away. I'm hoping she will do ok as long as we have the potty in the car so we can pull over if need be.
We have told Thad that he can go "ride rides" if he puts all his pee and poop in the potty. He is very excited about this and demands rides after every success. Last night I was explaining that the ride company only lets little boys who wear big boy underwear all the time come to their ride store (Cedar Point.)
Thad didn't miss a beat. "Big boy underwear? THAT'S RIDICULOUS!"
I'm in a horrible mood this morning. We are just clearing out two-plus weeks of colds for everyone and H is getting over his 26 week wonder week. This has added up to crappy sleep for him and me for the last month or so, but the last three nights have taken the cake. I was up until 4 walking him around last night, because everytime I put him in his crib he'd wake up within 15 minutes whining.
It's a special type of hell to lay in bed not sleeping because you KNOW that kid is going to wake up as soon as you drift off, and that's worse than just waiting for the inevitable.
Plus, seven weeks of WLC and I've lost a whopping 2.5 pounds. I haven't seen more than a one pound loss over a week since week two. I've been hovering at the same weight for 6 weeks now. It's crap like this that makes me wonder why I even bother. Three workouts a week plus 10k steps a day, plus meal planning, plus food tracking, plus eliminating junk is a whole lot of effort for no pay off. But, none of my pre preg clothes fit and I'm stuck in a small number of over worn, rapidly deteriorating not maternity outfits. I can't afford a new wardrobe, nor do I want to buy a bunch of clothes at this size, so I'm stuck looking tragic until I manage to shift 10 pounds or so.
Blargh. Sorry. I needed to get that out. Pie for everyone! Except for me obviously.
Eta: oh, and we got an email that A got into our first choice, totally amazing preschool with a two year wait list. Too bad it's in Scotland. Whomp whomp.
Jamie and I just went downtown to get his Purim costume from the Disney store, get some donuts, and visit H at work. We took the train and did a bunch of walking. I'm zonked. i will now sit on the couch for the remainder of the day.

The amazing race did start this week, I think it was two nights ago and it was 1.5 hours long I think. My DVR taped it, otherwise I would have missed it. I really like how some of the couples are basically on blind dates.
