H is seriously underestimating my level

of grumpiness. He text me this morning, "Honey, where are their (dogs) invisible fence collars? We really need to start keeping them in one place."

Grrrrrrrr. Now I know I am especially sensitive these days, but H, for real...

- the collars are always in the kitchen, either on the table by the door or on the counter where we put our keys, mail etc

-THEY ARE WEARING THEIR COLLARS!

MH is famous in both of our families for being the ABSOLUTE worst looker for things.

Me: "Babe, can you grab my purse? It's in the front hall under the table with the keys on it."
Him: *stands in front hall, swivels head from side to side, looking at eye level* "I don't see it"
Me: "Front hall. Under the table."
Him: "Nope, it's not here."
Me: *pick up purse from under table in front hall, kick H in shins as I walk by*

Mine refuses to bend over. If it is not at eye level, he cannot find it.

You know that if it doesn't fall into his outstretched hand, it doesn't exist. We this same conversation over eyedrops. They were sitting on the bathroom sink - on top of a jar of nailpolish remover. Of course he couldn't find it ANYWHERE even with explicit direction. I sigh, stomp down the hall, go immediately to it (I had to push him out of the way because he was right in front of it) - grab it and hand it to him. He got "the look" but no kicks. Will have to try that next time.
