I would go, but I'd be super, super conservative about food BRAT diet only, plus maybe clear broth. No chez-its, no dairy, no matter if he begs, screams, pitches a fit.

This. And lots of screen time so that he might not get so cranky about being hungry.
We're 99% sure we're going. Unless things take a bad turn for the worse.
DH isn't thrilled. AT ALL.
Honestly, I would tell him to suck it up. He doesn't have to be thrilled. This is about your family and family (extended) needs. It sounds like you need this time as an extended family.
He needs to understand this is important to you, step up to the plate and deal. This is life with a two year old.
Also, if it makes you feel better, I put DD on a plane last year with a fever so we could go to a wedding, even though I was terrified she would burst an ear drum in flight. I gave her Tylenol on our way to the wedding and she had the best time. It was all way more stressful for me than for her.
I'd go. But I deal with vomit a lot. Ok, not a lot. But more often than just, stomach bugs. My kids vomit from exposure to allergens or too much mucus or j I think was just car sick several weeks ago and threw up. So to me, with him vomiting so infrequently, I'd chance it.
I'd go. Flying with a toddler may be a shit show no matter how perfect the circumstances are. Florida is a quick-ish flight and he will be fine. Tell your DH that no one on a flight to Florida during Spring Break week is fazed by toddler puke and if they are buy them a drink.
This sounds like an exhausting way to live as the parent of a toddler. They get sick, like, all the time. And 99% of the time it's NBD.
We would never do anything if we freaked about every cold and bug. I'm sorry he's making you feel bad about going.
Thanks. He isn't bothered by colds or anything respiratory. It's poop and vomit. He sucks it up. But it is honestly stressful for him. In turn, that makes things more difficult for me sometimes. Like missing out on a few days with my sister and arriving in FL late.
It's too late to turn back time and fly out Friday, but I think I will push more, in the future. I don't mind taking on more in return for him agreeing to being at peace with going.
I'd 100% go. Just be sure to bring extra clothes for you and DH in your carry on. I figure there's always a decent chance your kid could throw up all over you on a plane even if you didn't already know they were sick.
DS, DD, and I all had a pretty nasty stomach bug last week that messed up eveyone for quite a while after the initial acute vomiting stage. I've got us all on probiotics now and it is slowly improving.
I'd go and I'd tell my DH to suck it up and that I don't want to hear it anymore. Especially since it sounds like he won't be dealing with any on-air sickness as you'll be in charge.

I also would go. Honestly, with little kids there is always a good chance of puke or diarrhea at any given moment. He's likely on the tail end of it. Bring extra clothes, wipes and some plastic bags for dirty stuff and go for it.
Guys, now I wish I had pushed him into flying out on Friday. We now will have missed Saturday, Sunday, and most of Monday. (We land at like 6pm.)
I would feel the exact same way.
However, since that has passed and there is nothing you can do about it, try to focus on how much time you will have and how much fun you will have with the days you have left.
I hope DH can enjoy the time as well, and not make you feel bad about it.
