No, Callie was not on the plane. It was Grey, Derrek, Sloan, Lexi, Arizona and Cristina.

Funny, I thought of April offing herself the 2nd I heard there would be a death. I figured they wouldn't do it b/c it's so obvious.

Lexi hasn't had any storylines in how long? Killing her off could be considered euthanasia.

Seattle Grace is the last place on earth I think I'd want to work. They're tragedy magnets. Cali and Meredith have died temporarily. Izzy and George died. Plus that guy who was shot whose name I never bothered to learn. And now there's a plane crash and another death? It's as shark jumpy as the helicopter amputation.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's Arizona. With some new info and speculation I read online, I do think it could be Lexi, and I also REALLY want her to get back with Sloan. Although, it would be a really dramatic season finale if Sloan professes his love for her and then she dies. I will be so fucking pissed if that happens.

Or, hell, maybe a big rock will fall on Sloan's head and he'll die (since he didn't seem injured at all from the crash). That will piss me off because he is really great eye candy. Definitely the hottest guy on the show.

Arizona's death I can deal with because there really isn't anything going on with her story. She's happy and has no drama, lol.

Lexi's story the last 3 years has been about her and Mark. Since they chose not to really feature any of the interns from her year, she doesn't really have any peers at the hospital with which to interact.

I think about this all the time. These are the unluckiest group of people on earth. Remember the guy with the bomb inside of him (I think it was a bullet or something that couldn't explode) and Meredith couldn't take her hand out of the guy for fear of explosion? Izzy got cancer (she didn't die, though), Christina had TWO accidental pregnancies (ending in ectopic/miscarriage and then abortion), Izzy's fiance dies, Altman's husband dies, of course the shootings, Bailey's kid almost died, oh don't forget the STD (was that George?), Meredith miscarries, the chief's wife miscarries (when she's like 50), Addison aborts Mark's baby, Christina is choked by her husband with PTSD, and it goes on and on.

Not to mention all of the big tragic evens that happen in Seattle, like ferries and trains crashing.

Oh, yeah, Izzy merely flatlined (so, put her in with Meredith and Callie). I think I blocked out her character after the ghost sex.

Anyone think Lexi might die? She's pretty bad off! That opening was crazy!
