Primer: don't really wear it, but the best I've used was Smashbox one in a pump. So silky and nice and evened out my skin so well.
Foundation: MAC MSF in Natural. It's amazing! I have rebought it countless times and although I hate the new packaging, I've yet to find anything that compares. The NARS pressed foundation was pretty good too, but MAC is better.
Concealer: Maybelline age rewind, Amazing cosmetics - covers red so well!
PowderBlush: MAC Well Dresses, Smashbox Ecstacy (old), and this one is cream, but so good - La Prairie Cellular Radiance in Plum Glow.
Bronzer: Nars Laguna and Too Faced Chocolate bronzer.
Eyeshadow: MAC - satin taupe, blanc type, Brûlé, naked lunch, all that glitters, mystery, Dazzlelight, sketch. Nars Galapagos.
Mascara: Guerlain, YSL, MUFE and Lancôme.
Lip Stuff: MAC creamsheen glass; Mally liquid lipsticks, Nars losses and some of the newer lipsticks, and D&G glosses.
Primer: Don't use Foundation: MAKEUP FOREVER Mat Velvet + Concealer: I don't love any one in particular Powder: MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Light Plus Blush: Milani baked blush in Lumimoso (sp?) Bronzer: NARS Laguna Eyeshadow: Naked 1 palette Liner: MAC Kohl liners in Teddy and Smolder Mascara: CoverGirl Last Blast Lip Stuff: Urban Decay 24/7 lipsticks in Naked and Fiend
Primer: None. It was Smashbox until one day it decided to break me out really badly. Foundation: I use a random tinted moisturizer. My skin likes it. Concealer: I'm using NYX right now. Powder: n/a Blush: Never used it until recently and I'm loving the Becca souffle that came in the Becca favorites kit. Bronzer: I'm using Urban Decay but it's not HG. Eyeshadow: Chocolate bar palettes or Naked Basics (either one). Liner: n/a Mascara: in search.... Lip Stuff: Lately, Colourpop. It really lasts on me. I also love the Too Faced Melted.
Primer: UD primer potion for eyes, don't wear any on my face Foundation: really loving the tarte BB primer stuff, it plays very nicely with my sunscreen Concealer: don't wear Powder: HG Dim Light Blush: too many to choose from, but I love pretty much all tarte Bronzer: I'm happy with TF Milk Chocolate, haven't really tried much else Eyeshadow: way too many to choose from Liner: Bobbi Brown gel liner Mascara: I still haven't found one... I think tarte gifted is my favorite so far, I also like buxom Lip Stuff: MAC CYY or NARS Funny Face
I don't have a lot of HG products either. I will buy every blush, eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick/gloss that speaks to me.
Foundation: Up until recently I used True Match exclusively but now I think I'm a Rimmel Lasting Finish convert. It reminds me of an Estée Lauder foundation I used for a long time many years back.
Concealer: MAC Studio Finish
Powder: True Match. I've tried higher end products and none of them compare.
Primer: Benefit porefessional Foundation: Don't have one yet. Concealer: Nars radiant creamy concealer Powder: MUFE Pro Blush: I like a lot of blushes. Currently alternating b/w toofaced sweetheart and a milani matte blush Bronzer: None Eyeshadow: Nyx and UD Liner: Hourglass gel liner and Kat Von D tattoo liner Mascara: Don't wear much mascara but I've been loving the benefit rollerball. Lip Stuff: I'm not picky. Maybelline color sensational and revlon lip butters are my favorite.
Primer:Laura Mercier Foundation:Tom Ford Traceless foundation Concealer: Cle De Peau Powder: La Mer loose powder Blush:Any Tom Ford blushes (they'Re super pigmented) Bronzer: Guerlain Eyeshadow: Any Tom Ford shadows! Liner: don't use this Mascara: Chanel Le Volume and primer Lip stuff: Tom Ford Lips and Boys collection, All Dior lipsticks, especially Dior Lip Glow (already repurchased several times)
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
I have to share this especially since the sephora sale is coming up. The DERMAdoctor Kakadu C Amethyst Clay Detox mask is great! It applies well, smells like berries and cleans out pores so well. I have oily skin and it feels and looks so great after I use this mask. You don't get a lot of product for the price, but it's worth the money.
Primer: Smashbox Photofinish in green Foundation: Nars sheergow and LM Concealer: I am not married to one, but own tons of different kinds. I have Nars, MAC, UD, Too faced, Benefit...I like the Maybelline eye brightener Powder: Hourglass ambient lighting powers, and MUFE loose powder Blush: I am a blush whore, but my all time fav is MAC melba Bronzer: MUFE Eyeshadow: Currently Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar, but I have more eyeshadow than anyone should ever own. I LOVE eyeshadow. Lorac Pro is also a fav Liner: UD 24/7 ad stila Mascara: Too faced Better Than Sex Lip Stuff:My favorite current comb is Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Charm with BE White Russian over it. I also have millions of mac favs, and I love LC Babette and Coquette.
Highlighter: Jose Moran Illuminizer!!!! Dior comes in second
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Primer: Benefit Porefessional Foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Concealer: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Powder: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush: Can't choose, but I reach for Tarte or theBalm most often Bronzer: TooFaced Chocolate Soleil and Sun Bunny Eyeshadow: LOL. No. Don't make me choose. Liner: Tarte Skinny Smoldeyes Mascara: Lately, UD Perversion Lip Stuff: Love my Tarte glosses the most. Also enjoying Benefit's tints and balms together.
These are probably more favorites than Holy Grail, but they're products I keep coming back to even after I try other things...
Foundation: Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Concealer: Origins Quick, Hide! Concealer (under eye) and Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof 12-hr Concealer (blemishes) Bronzer: I'm currently loving Too Faced's Snow Bunny Luminous Bronzer Eyeshadow: I suck at eyeshadow, but my current go to are any of the Maybelline cream shadows. I call them my idiot-proof eyeshadow Mascara: Physician's Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Fakeout
Anastasia Brow Wiz MAC Pro long wear concealer Stila stay all day liquid liner Tarte lights, camera, lashes Beauty Blender Nars Laguna bronzer Sigma brushes UD eye primer Dior Star foundation MAC lipsticks Philosophy purity cleanser and the micro exfoliating wash Kinerase C8 peptide intensive treatment Algenist eye renewal balm
Primer: I wear BB cream instead, but I have no loyalty. I switch between UD Naked balm, Guerlain, and Diorskin.
Foundation: UD 3.5 matches my skin well, and I have 3.0 and 4.0 to mix if I am especially pale or tan, but I don't think it's quite HG status. I have Diorskin in my travel bag and don't have a strong preference between the two.
Concealer: Again, not holy grail, but I use a combo of UD pencil, UD tube, and Laura Gellar
Powder: This is holy grail- Hourglass Ambient Lighting. I switch between Dim, Mood, and Diffused, depending on the time of day and lighting, but these are non-negotiable.
Blush: Nars Orgasm. I just keep coming back. I use others sometime but it's just for the sake of variety- Orgasm is always best.
Bronzer: I am loving Hourglass bronzer now, but I also like Nars Laguna and TooFace Chocolate Soleil. Laguna is in my travel Kit and I don't find myself missing the hourglass when I'm away, so I can't elevate it to Holy Grail.
Highlighter: I'm going to stick Touch Eclat here, b/c it's definitely HG and I don't think it's really a concealer- but it's not really a highlighter either. I REALLY like Hourglass highlighters, but they're not HG yet. I do NOT like Becca, and I know I'm alone in that. Anti-HG.
Eyeshadow: Urban Decay. I can't choose a specific color, but if I had to live with one palette forever it would be Naked 1. I always get a great look from it, and I have my favorites from it depotted into my travel bag so I always have it as an option.
Liner: I like UD, but I also like the Stila pen and the Hourglass pencil. So, no loyalty.
Mascara: Lancôme Defincils. I wish it wasn't because I'm trying so hard not to use products tested on animals, but UD runs for me and nothing else gives me the same look.
Lip Stuff: again, it is UD. I move between lipgloss, sheer revolution, and matte lipsticks, but I'm most often in either Naked 2 or a pale pink. Other pale pinks I have tried have a bimbo vibe that I'm too old for.
Other true holy Grails for me: -Sigma brushes. -Clarisonic (my nose pores are disgusting without it) -Caviar CC cream. I can literally skip a blowout with it. I mean, I don't like to skip blowouts. But I could. -GHD straightening iron and mason person brush.
Primer:don't have a HG Foundation: probably Chanel VitaLumiere but I would still search for the HG, lol Concealer: CONCEALER IS A LIE Powder: MUFE HD and Hourglass ambient, any of them Blush: MAC Bronzer: no HG Eyeshadow: can't even. I guess my most-used are MAC neutrals such as Shroom, Wedge, Kid, Malt, or the Nakeds. My favorites to experiment with are Electric Palette or WNW brights like Venice Beach or Poster Child or Art In the Streets. Liner: KVD tattoo Mascara: no HG Lip Stuff: all of them. Remember I have 100+ lipsticks and it is my truest weakness. My favorites are Bite and MAC. My favorite color on me, however, is Madison Mauve from Maybelline.

Powder: Nyx Blotting Powder Blush: WnW Color Icon in Heather Silk Bronzer: Tarte Park Ave Princess Eyeshadow: Too Faced Salted Caramel and Cherry Cordial, It Cosmetics Sunset Liner: Starlooks Pro Luxe Longwear Mascara: Tarte LCL, but I'm starting to love CoverGirl Super Sizer Lip Stuff: Nyx Butter Lipstick in Pops, WnW Balm Stain in Caffeine Fix

Primer: I'm all on for Hard Candy's face primer. I've used the stuff in the white bottle and now I'm using the stuff in the pink. I will totally rebuy when this one runs out. It's either $6 or $8 for a decent sized bottle of it. The only primer I've liked as much is ColorFx's but I hate the price point.
For eye primer, Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later (I think that's the name) for lyfe. LIFE I SAY. Nothing I've owned works better than this. That's including UD, the WnW knock off of UD, and TooFaced.
Foundation: I am happy with my foundation, Maybelline Fit stick for summer and Dream Smooth mousse for winter but I wouldn't call either of them HG.
Concealer: Again, happy with my product, not HG. That being said, I did rebuy Maybelline Dream Lumi touch concealer and it is a HG item for me. But while it's considered a concealer, I use it as a highlighter over my concealer. It doesn't necessarily cover. It just brings a really nice light to my face. I use it every day. I tried a WnW knock off and no. It sucked. It was missing the lumi aspect so nope.
Powder: Elf's Mineral Pearls in natural. I will rebuy when it runs out. I often use it alone if I don't want to wear face makeup but want to brighten up and even out my skin. I also use it to buff out my contour if it doesn't look blended as well as I'd like.
Blush: No HG, just a lot of stuff I fall in and out of love with throughout the year.
Liner: Kat Von D Tattoo liner. I've tried a lot of eyeliners when I ran out of my sample size of this. I probably could have bought two of them instead of trying out other shit and spent less.
Mascara: No HG. This is another product where it's more about what I'm looking for with any given day, outfit, or occasion.
Lip Stuff: Same as above. I will say however, that if I were only permitted on lip product for the rest of my life it would be Nyx Matte Lip Cream.

I just realized how few of my strictly makeup purchases are HG but how many general beauty products I own that are HG. So I'll share those.
St Ives Apricot Scrub - I've had this in my bathroom for easily ten years. I will always have a container of this. Not only does it work great on my face but I haven't found a product for the rest of my body that exfoliates better than this. I squeeze it onto my sponge or poof with a squirt of whatever body wash I'm into and use them together. Sometimes I slather it on my legs and shave with it, especially if my skin has been looking dull or if I want a really smooth shave.
Noxzema for lyfe. I try different face wash products on and off for daily cleansing. But always come back to this.
Olay microderm abrasion kit - whenever my skin is looking dull or feels rough, I use this. It makes my skin so soft, I really can't stop rubbing my face for a day or two afterwards.
Neutrogena oil free acne wash- it's that thick orange stuff in the pump bottle and it's amazing for washing brushes and beauty blenders. Baby soap is a lie. Use this stuff. My beauty blenders look brand new after I wash them.
Vaseline - the best lip softener/smoother ever. I slather it on when I start to wash my face in the morning. Then when my make up is all good, I wipe the excess off with a tissue, then apply my lip primer, lipstick, etc.
My newest HG product though are some exfoliating facial pads I found at Walgreens. You know those chintzy ass flat cotton rounds they sell next to the cotton balls? Similar but these have a nubby surface that really gets shit off your face. It usually takes me about 5-10 of those regular pads to remove all of my makeup and then 2 or so to rub toner all of my face and neck.
I literally use three of the exfoliating ones, sometimes only two. 1-2 to wipe off all of my eye makeup, one more to clean my face with Micellar water (my current HG cleanser). And my face feels clean afterwards. With the rounds, I always had to get some kind of scrub or cleanser after wards because my face never felt clean no matter how many rounds I used.
Primer: No HG but this thread is making me want to try Hourglass! Foundation: MAC Studio Fix. Forever <3 Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Powder: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Blush: No HG Bronzer: No HG Eyeshadow: No HG Liner: Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Liner. If you are as bad at eyeliner as I am, you will be a virtuoso with this stuff. Mascara: No HG Lip Stuff: MAC Viva Glam V. Seriously the perfect MLBB for neutral undertoned gals like me who struggle with bases too blue or too orange.

I won't list categories where I don't have a HG. I'm only naming products I keep coming back to over and over and just can't quit
Setting power: RMS uncoverup Blush: NARS orgasm Bronzer: tarte park ave princess matte Mascara: 100% pure mascara in blackberry. I just can't quit this stuff. It makes me so happy and smells like fruit. Lips: IT lip vitality (specifically je ne sais quoi). It's like magic. Also, dr bronzer organic lip balm for just a plain ol Chapstick. I can't leave the house without either in my bag Foundation: Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation I keep reaching for the Y.Nique liquid mineral touch too. I can't believe how much I love that stuff. Under eye concealer: for me, it can be Bobbi Brown corrector or NYX corrector (both perform about the same IMO) that salmony colored stuff is just magical
