Well, the interview seemed to go well. Other than the fact that I spilled soup down my front during lunch. Fortunately it wasn't too noticeable, but still.
The salary is lower than the median for that size school, but they're working on improving that and cost of living is fairly low.
It was kind of interesting; as the dean and I were leaving for her to take me on the tour of the city, she asked me, "If you were to buy a house, what kind of architecture would you be looking for?" So she showed me neighborhoods of old homes.

I should hear by the end of the end of the week.
That sounds super promising! Why would she be talking about architecture and houses if she wasn't planning on offering you the job?
as hard as I tried, I'm not going to finish the Pom Pom rug im making Mila for her big girl room before we actually give it to her this Thursday. I'm super disappointed in myself.
Bring it to school and work on it while your kids are doing something mindless! Haha! This is coming from the teacher who is planning on giving her kids busywork while she puts things on the walls for Open House this week!

Well, I know I'm the last of the candidates, so it could be she did the same with the others. And maybe it just made sense to incorporate it on the tour.
I just found out my grandpa got moved to the ICU and is on a ventilator. I have to say goodbye to him tomorrow. It doesn't feel real. He won't get to meet Luke. I won't have another Christmas with him or skip rocks at our camp or share our favorite sandwich. What do I tell Lil. What do I even say tomorrow? How will I walk out of the room. this day stinks.

I'm so glad A is in bed! She had a unpleasant day lol. I was begging her to sit and watch TV by 7, way too much energy and not enough listening.
She got in trouble the other day because she ripped up a book in bed when she was supposed to be napping. I opened a cabinet today in her room and discovered ripped book parts. She's been ripping them and then hiding the pieces since she got in trouble.

Oh artgal84, I'm so sorry. Just tell him that you love him.
We told Ari that his Bubbie died and went to heaven. He won't be able to see her again but she will always watch over him and protect him. I don't really know if he understand any of it. This age is really hard with death.
The flu is kicking my butt. I put the baby down for nap today and I fell asleep on the sofa and woke up with Colin passed out on me. I have no recollection of any of it. I hope he wasn't worried about me. I am living it up though and just sent my H out to get me a banana creme pie shake from Sonic. Insane calories be damned, I will enjoy every sip!

I have a really good feeling about this one for you. Just the way it all came about from a contact instead of the normal application process, etc. That's how people get jobs...

This one was the normal application process also. They just seemed really positive when they talked to my advisor.
I feel good about this also, but I've felt that way before. I'm trying to stay positive without getting too excited, because, quite frankly, eighth time and all...
