I bought it in Vivid Rose because the color looked fucking gorgeous and I wanted a hot pink to go with my hot pink Palm Sunday jewelry which the kids lost after I bought the lipstick making the purpose irrelevant but whatever, yo, hot pink lipstick cures all ills, right?
No. It didn't even make it to the fucking church. I live 30 minutes from my church and by the time I got there, it needed another coat. By the time church was over, I was wearing lipliner and there was virtually no product in the corners of my mouth.
I hate this stuff.
Hate.it.
Temptalia said it lasted six hours on her though so IDK. I usually don't have issues with lipsticks staying on my lips so I was a little surprised by the level of suckage.
@helenabonhamcarter funny. I've had really good luck with that shade. It's my favorite from that line too.
I was wanting to start a thread like this. Because this mascara I got as a point perk at sephora sucked for me. Buxom Full & Fabulous settled under my eye by lunch time.
Smashbox limitless eyeliner - I bought this because the color was interesting (black violet) but the formula sucks. It tugs and goes on unevenly.
Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Vegas Strip. I'm as pale as it gets and this color doesn't show up on me. I think Beauty Broadcast recommended this - it was a fail.
I like other shades, but L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in liquid diamond is the worst. It's the shadow equivalent of the Smashbox liner.
I also dislike the Butterfly Intenza mascaras. I have naturally long lashes and they made them look brittle and wispy.
Oh, and I am intensely displeased with a Nars eyeshadow I bought. It is a gorgeous shade of gray in the pan and swatched well, but it will not show up on my eyelids. It's going back.
NYX Butter Gloss. The colors are pretty but the staying power is less than nil. I will put some on my lips at a stoplight on the way to school, and by the time I get to school, it's half gone. I'm not sure I understand how it's possible for a product to dissipate that quickly in the absence of witchcraft, but it happens every single time.
I wore smashbox eye primer yesterday and noticed after a couple of hours that there was heavy creasing of my eye shadow
That stuff is The worst! The Too Faced shadow primer also creases on me. I also absolutely hated the MUFE HD foundation. I have oily skin and it made me look super oily within hours. Clinique Pore Refining Solutions sucks too.
UD perversion eyeliner. I look like a giant raccoon 30 second after putting it on.
Good to know! I was looking at this to replace my annoying tarte one.
I find these threads fascinating because some of the stuff works so well for some people and not at all for others. For example, I love both NYX butter gloss and UD perversion eyeliner.
I really don't like my UD pencil eye liners. They immediately seem to melt off and settle under my eyes. I can't think of other products right now since I always try to return the duds. I hate when a product I hate is taking up precious space in my cabinet!

Yup. Like the smashbox eye primer mentioned above? it's my holy grail go-to when I really really REALLY need my shadow to stay fucking put. It does not kid around. I know that racegrrl714 likes it too.
Skin chemistry is tricksy.
I'm another who likes the Maybelline vivids btw...they actually have nice staying power for me. I've never tried rose though.

Benefit's they're real liner or whatever it's called. Stuff is horrid.
Whatever I listed in the drugstore duds thread.
ETA: Most black eyeliner pencils, I have yet to find a black pencil liner that is HG status. Mally black velvet is this close, 'cept it's not blackest black. There's a few black shades so I need to try the others of hers. Black velvet doesn't smudge.

Same here. The Sephora lady sold me on it a few weeks ago and that stuff is going back.
Have you found a foundation that does not make you look like you have crisco on your face within hours?
Benefit They're Real Mascara - I wasn't a fan of the brush and it was awful to try and remove at the end of the day. Plus I thought the formula was really dry.
LM Tinted Moisturizer - This made me break out and almost burned on my skin. The texture did not look good on my skin.

What eye shadow primer works for you? I am still going through samples and so far no go with Smashbox and Urban Decay for me.
I think this is my new favourite mascara. What do you not like about it?
I can't use it! It goes on like I've just wiped it on with a stick. I can't figure out how to make it separate my lashes.
I've never tried Rollerlash, but this is exactly how I feel about They're Real.
My list of ball suckage: ((*snickers*)) They're Real They're Real Push Up Liner MUFE Smokey Extravagant mascara Benefit Porefessional UD Primer Potion, TF Shadow Insurance, Lorac Behind the Scenes- none of these work for me.
Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation - felt sticky/tacky going on and I guess just wasn't enough coverage for me. I mean, I know, the name. But it made me look sallow and sickly.

I really like Lorac Behind the Scenes, but it doesn't work well for at least one other MUT-er. FWIW, I have very oily lids.
YSL Effet Faux Cils Shocking mascara is godawful. A makeup artist used it on me and I was amazed at the length of my lashes so I bought a tube. Didn't use it right away and by the time I went to use it, it was a few months later. I felt dumb trying to return it at that point.
This is what it does to your lashes (not my picture - I found it in a review):
I don't know, maybe you like that look. It's a bit....clumpy and goopy for me.

I think I got a free deluxe sample of this from Sephora. It is bad. It also REAKS of perfume.
Jane Iredale BB cream. Horrible, horrible, horrible. It was a sample, but just sampling it made my life feel worse. Thick, sticky, unspreadable, unbelievably mask-like. To add insult to injury, it was hard to remove. Ugh, now I'm having flashbacks.

MAC Msf in Natural. It's a naked pedestal foundation. That's the best one I've found and repurchased many times over the years.
