If anyone cares about my birth control woes, I'm trying out the patch for a while. Dr. said I could try another IUD, but there's a higher risk it will expel again, and after twice, that option would be off the table.
So far, I don't love it. Might try Nuvaring in a couple months if I don't change my mind, and if that isn't for me, then I'll have to get a new memory and go back on the pill. It did work for me for 8 years.

I have to call and reschedule my upcoming amnio and I am incredibly tempted to just find out the sex. WTF is wrong with me? I am supposed to be Team Green4Lyfe. When I mentioned to DH that they almost slipped up when giving me the Panorama results, he said, "Well, if you wanna know, then find out but only if you can keep it a secret from me." I think I can, but who knows. I guess I would just have to keep calling baby "it," humor him on names for both sexes and make sure he doesn't notice whether I've separated all the outgrown girl clothes in the basement from the gender-neutral stuff (or not).
Or I'm just being nuts. I don't think I'll ask. It just would make things easier in terms of knowing whether I can give away the girl clothes for sure or not. I like getting things out of my house quickly.

I never had issues with the Patch but I did prefer the Nuvaring.

I'm Team FindOutAsSoonAsHumanlyPossible, but I think it would be annoying to have to keep it from my spouse.

This is true. I changed my mind again a few minutes after I posted anyway because I'm a weirdo like that.

I logged into MFP on Sunday, logged my breakfast and have nothing since. HOWEVER apparently I have notifications for MFP set on my phone because it keeps harassing me to log my food. NO!! Leave me alone!

I've thought about trying other options, but man, the pill just totally works for me. I tried to go "natural" for a while pre-wanting a kid, thinking the hormones might be bad for me, but really, I felt so much worse off the pill than on it.
I do wonder if I'll stay on it in a few years, when I know research shows increased risks (the infamous "over 35" age range).
So related rant: How ridiculous is it that my insurance covers my pill with no co-pay, but they don't allow me to fill a prescription written for a three-month supply? My former company's insurance covered that no problem, but now I have to stand in line at the pharmacy every month to pick up my new pack. So stupid. And of course the mail-order option costs $15 or something ridiculous.
@idaholakelady - sorry if I missed an update from a while ago (maybe a month or more?), but did you ever get results of your DD's allergy test? We are still trying to figure out DS2's loose poop issues and am thinking about asking his pedi for an allergy test as well.
Feel free to PM me if you don't want to talk about it in a randoms thread.

I'll send a PM about BMs :-)
But, because it's funny, I'll share what DD has started saying whole on the changing table (or randomly at dinner). "Poooop! Pooooop is a potty word! We don't say potty words at schoooool. Pooooop is a potty potty wooooord!"

Haha! My boys sometimes call each other "goose" because we often will call one or both of them a "silly goose". And this morning when DS2 was running away from DS1 he yelled at him, "Come back here, you goose poop!". But I'm sure this is just the beginning of brothers calling each other names that have to do with bodily functions...
The nursery is right next to our room so I shut the door when I wakeup and open before I leave so they don't hear us get ready, or hear as much. The house is old and has a shitty door and it's so hard to click. So I ordered a latchy catchy. Hopefully not a waste of $10.
I didn't know what these were called but I had my mom make one for our door and the nursery. They are the best! Easy to open and close quietly while holding a sleepy baby.
