The first is on my lower right back- a Union Jack with a maple leaf in the centre, representing my dual citizenship. The second is between my shoulder blades- a picture of the plane I did my first solo flight in, with the date and the plane's registration number.

I have one tattoo right now. It is an angel on my left shoulder. I don't have a picture of it and it needs to be touched up. I want to get my second one in the next couple of months. It will be a memorial tattoo for my mom. I am thinking of getting it on my foot.
I didn't mean or say tattoos= bad parents! I said, I silently gasp when I see tattoos on parents. I meant, big tattoos on moms are trashy! Whew, so glad I cleared that up
I guess you have a right to your opinion. I kind of think judgmental people are trashy.
Well said and I agree 1000%. Particularly when it's something as superficial and harmless as outward appearances. Because today, I totally judged the girl at the gas station with 5 kids in her little sedan without a car seat in sight....
And can I ask a question? What is about tattoos that makes everyone suddenly go all tribal or foreign?
I can't answer for anyone else, but I have a variety of foreign tattoos just because I've always appreciated different culture, art and languages. I have an Egytpian tattoo, Chinese kanji, a Spanish phrase in script, and a traditional Japanese style pieces, as well as an "old school" American style piece and traditional style block lettering.
I think the nature and history of tattoos in general lends itself to a bit of a melting pot of cultures. Practically every world culture has had its own history of tattooing for hundreds, if not thousands of years.
