I'm up. I plan on a few miles once I get moving. Later DH and I plan on going to 2 wineries. One is having the chocolate, strawberry and wine festival, the other is doing a olive oil and wine pairing. I may need to come home and do another few miles afterwards lol.
It's 3:15 - I'm up! I was so worried I'd oversleep, good thing I iust kept dreaming about my alarm going off ( and getting tangled in some bizarrely complicated running shirt). I Woke up to check the time at least 6 times!
Anyway, I'm getting ready to get dressed and get out the door for my shuttle. My knee feels really good walking around, so hopefully that means it holds up for me out there. The course videos and photos got me all excited yesterday. What an epicly beautiful place for a run!

babyniq & I are headed to a casual 5k that features free donuts and a caspar babypants concert afterward. I'm going to set a PR even though I'll be pushing a stroller and I did a 10 mile interval run yesterday, just because I haven't run a 5k in 2 years, lol.
I'm up, although it's past 9 so not a huge accomplishment. I'm still in lazy-ish mode so I'm doing 8 today. It's so grossly humid out so I'm waiting until 10 to start, in hopes that it goes down to 85%, or something more pleasant than the swamp air it is right now. Other than that, it's going to be a glorious day of doing nothing!
I'm going to a baby shower soon. Should get some recovery miles in, but DD3 snuck into my bed last night and I slept like crap. Plus, it's cold and raining.
I am up but will probably head back to bed last night sucked pain and up every 2 hours. I really think I may have a ulcer. I will be calling insurance tomorrow to see if the referral for the g.i. doc went through so I can make appointment asap I can't keep being in this pain. And the er here pretty much will do nothing other than earlier last week when it happened they did a ct to make sure it wasn't my gallbladder or anything.

I finished my 10K with a PR time of 55:27. I cut 7 minutes off my time from last year! My sore hip flexor really tightened up after only 3 miles, but after that it seemed to loosen up a bit and didn't get worse. It actually feels fine now after my run. Im hopeful I will be able to put in a good effort for the Broad Street run next weekend.

Ran 7 miles this morning. Weather was great thanks to a shower that cooled us off for the morning (upper 50's/low 60's while I was running). Hard to believe we'll be in triple digits later this week.
I finished my half in 2:05 and I'm so happy with that time on this course. Also had my first visit to a med tent- I took a spill at mile 2 and got some pretty bad road rash on my knee and forearm. I felt fine but it was pretty bloody so they grabbed me after the finish and herded me over to the tent (liability concerns?) Luckily it didn't hurt while I was running, and I'm milking it now for some serious couch time and a hot coffee with a cinnamon roll :-)
Meh. I can do better. I blame tired legs and pushing a stroller LOL. It was still good enough for #1 stroller pusher, though another dad almost passed me on the home stretch.
