I've found an amazing home(plus a few contenders) that can hold more than 18 people <)
The only caveat is that it would be about a 35-40 minute commute to the start. BUT - it is oceanfront So, if you're serious, post in this thread or PM me & i'll get East Coast GTG Round 2 started!
ETA: Does "Oceanfront Mansion" fit our level of standards for GTG accommodations?
Woohoo! I'm serious, but can't commit yet, because I wouldn't be able to make it if these fertility treatments work. I'll be able to say yes or no for sure in a few months, because if I'm not too pregnant, I could still come and do a half.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Me too. We may be undergoing IVF again. The only way I wouldn't be there is if I had a last minute procedure. Even if that was the case and I had to back out, I'm good for the $
I've narrowed it down to 2. I want to see how many ladies feel serious about it before sending - would hate for us to get so excited about a house & then only 10 of us go & we greatly downgrade

Silver lining. You could then get a place much closer to the city. Not bad options either way!

That's completely fair!
I did a search of big houses in Charleston a few months ago, thinking I could persuade MIL to take us there for a week in the summer. There are some gorgeous ones!

Sounds like fun! I plan on being KU by then, so the running would be a no-go for me. If there is extra room, I'd love to come hang out and be in the cheering section.

Oh man!! I want to come SO BAD. I mean, SO BAD. I'm still bitter to have missed Kiawah.
But, Willa won't be a year yet, so, breastfeeding. And, that's the week that H's season kicks off, so he wouldn't be able to hold down the fort while I'm gone.
Also, East Coast!!! Come to the west side, ya'll!
But a January marathon would be so perfect. I've even been thinking about RnR Phoenix in Jan, but our travel budget may be shot (Disney in Nov! Durango in Dec! Christmas! Birthday!).
I say a lot of unnecessary words, don't I? My regretful answer is that I can't make this one, either

This makes me legitimately sad. I mean, happy because baby and fun trips, but selfishly sad.
I have to come to Albuquerque for a damn race, don't I?

Stinkin kids!!
Albuquerque is positively enchanting as you know.
But, CO is always an option for me because of family. So, when I get my ass through more than 3 miles at a time, I'm going to really look at doing some goal setting and race selecting, and of course will keep CO races at the top of my list

ktzmoh and I were talking about doing a destination tri, and your neck if the woods came to mind
Woop woop!!! The tri scene is hot in the southwest & mountain region!

We were talking about how it's not so easy to find cool tris - can you recommend some that might be possibilities? I suggested Wildflower because that's on my list - but Dr.Cupcake thought people would rather a Fall tri because of winter training...
