Wow. Some of the crap on that board would have been highly flameworthy back in my day. And instead, they're all rainbows and unicorns and hugs.

Suggestion that someone ask their BM to chow down on laxatives to fit into her dress? A gentle, "Golly gee, that sounds dangerous. I could never ask my friend to do something potentially unhealthy."

Even on Etiquette, the suggestion of uninviting BMs after a reduction in guest count is actually met with "Some people say that the guest to wedding party ratio should be such-and-such..."
