Hope it's ok that a lurker jumps in here
If you like Greta, how about Ingrid? They're similar, but I think that Ingrid is a little bit softer than Greta, if that makes sense. I LOVE Ruby and Paige, those are my favorites.
And I don't like Nora, Mia or Mila as a full first name - they sound more like nicknames to me. What about Eleanor with the nickname Nora?
Honestly, I'd probably take Ruby off the table. You've got a lot of other good options.
I like Greta, and know of a little girl with that name. I don't think it's harsh. Greta Charlotte sounds good. Marta is similar in feel, do you like that any better?
I also like Nora and Mila, but both are becoming somewhat popular. If that doesn't matter, those are my #2 and #3 choices.
I do not pronounce Clara and Blaire similarly at all. Are you pronouncing it Claire-a? I pronounce it Clahr-uh.
Anyway, if you're so set on Charlotte, is there a reason you're not using it as the FN? I would take the pressure off of yourself and switch the name order if there's nothing on this list that you absolutely love. I'm not big on whether FN & MNs "go together," but more on whether the names mean something to you. DS's mn, in particular, doesn't flow with his fn, but DD picked it for him and that makes me love it.

My favorites on your list are Clara and Greta. I don't think either comment is a dealbreaker at all.
If you'd like more suggestions, here are some (and I'm going with shorter names due to the longer middle name) - Brenna, Amelia, Isla, Violet, Hannah, Fiona, Tessa.

Even if you do pronounce Clara and Blaire similarly, I really think it's a stretch to think that they are too close. Claire and Blaire sure, but not with the different spelling. I also tend to pronounce it in my head like "are" rather than "air"
I like Greta. Gretchen is a nice alternative that's becoming kind of popular.
I don't think Clara and Blaire are all that similar. I love Clara. I know a little girl named Gretta and she is seriously the cutest, her name fits her perfectly, for no reasons related to Germany.
Name geeks will tell you Brynn/Bryn is a boy name.
I love Ruby (maybe go with Scarlett instead?), Greta (would you consider Gretchen?), Nora, Caroline, Laurel (or Lauren), and Mia. Of the ones with comments I think I like Ruby the best. But if it turns off your DH, it might be a hard sell.
LAUREL I've loved this name for years & no one ever uses it (including me). Mostly my last name ruined my chance of using it. You should use it, it's so cute.
I love your list! Nora, Laurel, Paige, and Mila are my favorites. I think Paige in particular sounds good with your DS's name and it's a little less popular than the others, if that matters to you.

It would be Claire-a.
I knew this would come up & should have addressed it. I just lost my grandma Charlotte about a month ago (after a really sudden 2 week battle with pancreatic cancer.) We always planned on using it as a middle name, and she was honored to know that, but I'm having a hard time thinking of it as the first. I know my family would love if we used it, but I'm still pretty shocked/devastated by her passing and it just seems too hard.
I think you would fight the pronunciation battle on the daily.

ALSO, I love Greta because it sounds similar (to me, anyway) to Helen and I REALLY wanted Helen but could not get any traction on that one with the hubs.
