1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? TTC since January
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? Found out that SIL had trouble TTC and was reminded that DH's aunt & uncle had trouble too, so doesn't seem that unusual on his side of the family But, we're not quite at the point yet of calling it trouble for us. We are not charting this cycle, will probably try one more charted cycle before we go to the doctor
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? Apple pie - it's a secret family recipe
Congrats to the BFPs and many hugs to those who need them!

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 3, CD20 - ??DPO???
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? My chart is all effed this month and there is no clear indication that I have O'd. I'm already feeling overwhelmed and annoyed by TTC, even though I know that it's way too early to be this frustrated. Wah. Woe is me.
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? My Aunt's coffee cake - it's always a huge hit!
2. We're now on hold until mid sept to avoid my sister's may wedding. I'm bummed because I would have rather gone just pp fat than huge and pregnant. This is probably one of those confessions where karma is going to cause me to be still not pg by the wedding. Lol. On a positive note, I'm going to continue to use bf as bc for the next month and slow down on weaning.
I'll bite since I came out of the lurker closet yesterday.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 1, CD22 - 8DPO (assuming my chart is accurate of course)
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? Not yet! Just trying to stay optimistic and not obsess.
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? probably roast chicken. I've NEVER been able to make a decent lasagna.

1. Cycle 2, CD14
2. My chart is a freakin' mess. My temps have been up and down. I'm wondering if it's because I sleep under the AC vent... I hope I still see an ovulation spike.
3. I don't have a go-to...I tend to try something new every time I want to impress. :-)
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? probably roast chicken. I've NEVER been able to make a decent lasagna.
What has been wrong with your lasagna? Have you tried the pre-cooked noodles? It makes it SO much easier and they taste the same I promise. Lasagna is too good of a dish to give up on, keep trying!

It's always so dry! I have a great bolognese sauce I make that I've tried to use, but it's closer to chili really and just seems to dry stuff out.
I like it saucy and super cheesy, light on the ricotta. I just haven't found a good recipe I think!
1. Month 3, CD 6. I was really late last month and blew through a bunch of wondfo's and Dollar Tree tests but my period showed up on Friday morning so there ya go.
2. Our timing has been good for two months in a row but no BFP. I wouldn't be too worried but we found out two weeks ago that DH has low testosterone, so now I'm concerned about his sperm. He has an appointment with an endo in a few weeks and will bring it up then.
3. DH is the cook in our house, especially for guests. I would probably make lasagna, which I love and DH does not.

Hello!
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Month 3, CD7
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I've been pleasantly surprised how well my cycles have gone since coming off birth control. I hope this month continues that trend.
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? I've made a variation of the skinnytaste baked ziti a few times that turned out really well (I mostly just add more sauce).

I have found that a fairly thin and tomato-ey sauce is best for lasagna, I like ones with chunks of tomato too. I also put a thin layer of ricotta with spices mixed in and top it with a layer of shredded mozzarella. It gets gooey but holds together. Lasagna is pretty much the only thing I make that I really like every time!
CD5, back on birth control to reduce cysts Got all my IVF drugs delivered! Can't wait to start injecting myself again. I would say lasagna too but recently I made Skinny Taste's cilantro lime fish tacos for guests and they were a HUGE hit.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 4 CD 4
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? After my post about chart help yesterday and having a negative pg test, I did some research. I knew I had a short LP, but I didn't know how badly that affected being able to get and keep a pregnancy. My LPs are between 3 at the lowest, and 7 at the highest. I'm going to start taking B6 and 12 supplements, as well as a little progesterone cream to see if that helps my LPs extend.
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? Chiles Rellenos with homemade smokey salsa is my go-to.

1. We're taking August (and maybe September) off while waiting to see if our insurance coverage changes with some changes in job stuff for us. It feels good to take a break.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? BFP on Monday! I think I'm 4 weeks and 6 days along.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? None, but just wanted to offer hugs to those who are struggling with TTC.
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? I've had great success with JC's famous boeuf bourguignon - it's an all-day labor of love, but so tasty and impressive!

1. cycle 3 CD 28, BFN this morning. my last two cycles (post BC) have been 20 and 23 days so hopefully this is a sign its getting regulated.(?) If this isn't the cycle i'm going to force myself to chart 2. good luck to everyone! 3. I am not such a good cook
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Month 1 for us trying, third month off the pill. I am on CD11 today.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? I bought some Wondfo OPKs per the board's suggestion, and was going to try to use them this month just to see when I probably ovulate since I've been having a perfect 30 day cycle since I stopped the pill. I didn't really intend to tell DH about the OPKs because he's a "go with the flow" kind of guy, but I accidentally left one out on the bathroom counter on Monday. He laughed at me when I told him what it was.
I also forgot to use them yesterday because I was crazy busy. This peeing on sticks thing is going to take practice!
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? I'm not so much a good cook as I am a baker, so I usually try to come up with some awesome desserts. I made a pumpkin caramel cheesecake once that was a HUGE hit.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Been TTC#2 for almost 3 years. 5dpt/10dpo
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? Nothing yet
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? Pulled pork burritos with avocado and corn salsa
1). We have been trying for 12 months. CD 22. No ovulation yet. 2). H's urology appointment is tomorrow, to find out if H's numbers can be improved. Right now we are assuming IVF is the only option, so we are saving as much as we can to pay for it. 3). I don't really cook for others, but my best dish is with shrimp and scallops
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 9ish. 30 days post d&c, just waiting for AF to show up....I feel like I'm in college again, just praying that my period shows up ASAP.
2. Any news/AWs/vents to share? Just booked tickets to Chicago for December. I've never been, and am so excited to see the city in the winter. I hope it snows (but just a beautiful dusting, not a blizzard )
3. QOTW - it's Julia Child's 100th birthday so what recipe do you make when you are trying to impress? My specialty is desserts. However, I made some apple cider vinegar/vanilla brined pork chops last night and my husband said I should make those if we ever have a big dinner party.
2. I think I may have O'd on CD 10 last month, so I have moved hell and high water to make DH plan his business travel around this guess. I can't actually find ovulation predictors in France.
3. Usually lamb. Or rabbit. But it depends on the crowd. Not everyone likes eating animals that are cute.

You will pay a premium for shipping, but we've shipped via Amazon to France many times, as we have family there. Considering the Wondfo savings, though, you can pretend to just eat the shipping costs.
