I think it is kind of old-ladyish. Sorry. You have a great figure and can do better.

And I vote not an asshole for giving an SO an opinion, especially one they ask for. I ask DH's opinion on my clothes all the time, as well as all of your opinions on the regular. Not sure why this thread or this suit or this DH would be any different or an asshole. I don't know that I've ever met anyone who didn't ask, at one point in time or another, for an opinion on an outfit they were on the fence about.

I would feel like I should be taking water aerobics at the Y in that suit, but if you love it and feel comfy in it, get it.

The print is a little old ladyish, but I like the colors, so i say embrace the old lady and do it! And I'm LOL at the people all 'gahhhhhhh your H is destroying your confidenccceeee!' MH just says he doesn't know when I ask him if something looks ok, with the exception of a few things I get compliments on all the time, which he hates. So, lol. I take it all with a grain of salt. I would much rather have an honest opinion.

Funny, I think just the opposite. I think retro styles in general, but this suit in particular, is kind of purposely old-lady-ish, but I love the patterns and the bright colors, which are not in the least old ladyish.

I think it really depends on the styling. On me, old lady for days. On some adorable rockabilly girl, super cute.

I don't own it yet. I just can't decide between this one and the plain pink one.  I don't really care if he likes it or not.  I was just trying to prove to him that it's not an old lady print. Clearly most people agree with him! Oh we'll, I'm a golden girl at heart.

It's an old lady print, but I like it too.

Also note that I wear a full-length satin robe with a teal and pink floral print that I think is pretty fabulous, and my roommates Rose and Sophia agree.

I can't say anything. I bought a gown to sleep in. It was soft and very comfortable. It's totally something my GMIL would buy.

I like it, but I'm a fat kid and those sorts of suits are as flattering on me as anything is.

So if you have an awesome figure, find something sassier. If you are fluffier like me, those look perfect.
