I used SW silverpointe and I love it. It reads really true grey in my house. I hate grey with green undertones and I am okay with more blue purple but really wanted truer grey. Gray is hard to get just right I have been trying to find a darker grey for my bedroom and everything ends up looking really muddy brown because it is a dark room.
ETA This isn't my house but is a pretty accurate reflection of the color.

We also did SW Mindful Gray on the first floor. Here are two pics of the paint before we moved in:
We also did SW Greyish in the girl's bathroom and Hazel's room and it has a lot of purple undertones but on the swatch just looked like a lighter version of Mindful Gray. It is not.
Gray is a great choice but it can be tricky. My first question for you would be (and this will probably sound odd to many, lol) but do you prefer grey or gray? Grey to me has green to blue undertones and gray has blue to purple undertones.
Huh? Gray vs grey is just commonly used spelling in the U.S. vs England.
Lol, no I know. Grays do have different undertones though and part of the way I differentiate between the two is spelling. It's part of my synesthesia, words have color and/feeling to me.

We just painted the nursery Behr's Wheat Bread last night (a greige). Pay no mind that my baby is due in 3 weeks and literally all I have done is a rug I just put down.
My husband always thinks any color I choose is too dark, despite the fact that almost every time we pick the color he wants, after he sees it on the wall he says "It needs to be darker." Anyway, he went out of town on business and I repainted our guest bedroom the Glidden color "granite." It was much darker than he would ever agree too, but when he saw it on the wall he loved it. I don't know why the bed colors are so washed out in this picture.
Behr Graphite (I think).. the blue undertones are less prominent in natural light. However, at night, the blue undertones are very prominent. I went through 9 samples before I picked a color.
I love ALL of these and this is bookmarked. I woke DH up in the middle of the night to ask if he would be ok with replacing countertops if necessary. I'm losing my mind! But I am very perplexed about what to do with our distinctly beige granite. Which, TBH, I have never really liked.

Do you have a picture of the granite? If it has other colors in it that you do like you may want to try and pick that up with the paint. So for example if it has blue or green streaks and you pick those undertones up in your grey paint, it may change the look of the granite in the room.
That being said I have countertops that I really don't like and I so wish I could afford to replace them. So if you hate them and can afford to replace them do it.

I am following this because I'm looking to paint our bedroom and bath a greige or gray this summer. I want something that will work with our dark brown blackout curtains because they were $$.

Our whole first floor is SW agreeable grey. I love it, and it takes on different tones based on the light and furnishings in each room.
Much more work.
And they really do need to be replaced.
Makes sense. I honestly wouldn't do it myself bc of the time involved. We had all of the trim and interior doors painted white when we moved in (also when we painted everything grey). It changed the look of our home sooo much.

I think it will make the house look so much newer than it actually is. Hopefully in the fall!

My favorite grey is Wayside Inn. It is pretty much perfect. It goes well with cool and warm tones. We have it throughout our main floor and upstairs hallway plus the guest bedroom.

If you don't like your countertops then paint really isn't going to help. We painted the walls and had our cabinets painted in an effort to make our granite more tolerable. The first thing DH said when he saw the newly painted cabinets: "I wish we had different countertops." I'm currently lusting over white quartz:
We are both fine with replacing the counters, but we will paint first and see how it looks. I love the white Quartz ones, but think I want marble.

Wait!! WHAT??!!
Indeed! You're not behind, though! I just announced it a few weeks ago. Ha! Curse of the third child! I'm behind on everything.
