I see posts about Thirty One almost weekly on Facebook. Tons of "friends" sell it and post about deals or other people posted about things they bought and love. I've looked at plenty of different catalogues can never find a single thing I like.
I've never ordered anything myself or gone to a party, but my SIL bought me a bag I use for my makeup and toiletries when I travel. It's the perfect size and fits everything I need.
I think they have some good organizational things, but it's more than I would pay for that stuff since I can get similar things at Target. I wouldn't carry any of their bags, but I have seen one nice cosmetic bag that a friend had and when I was at the pool with the kids I saw someone with a nice insulated bag.

A few of my friends have parties and I usually go just for the free snacks and drinks. Sometimes I get drunk enough and order something but it's typically the accessories or organization stuff...not the purses. But it's fun...like a surprise when it arrives!

I don't get it either but all my friends with families love them! I did order the flat iron case and I do like that. I just don't see much that interest me.
I have a cooler and bought a DH a tote to use to go to the gun range. The other stuff, not really my style.
I was traveling with a friend who had a cooler from them and it was pretty impressive how cold it kept the drinks. The patterns on that one was NMS but I didn't bother looking to buy one in a different pattern because I don't need a new cooler.
I was invited to a Thirty One party at the end of the school year. I liked the product and the idea that you can choose your own fabric to pair with the bag of your choice. But, some of it seemed really overpriced.

It's very popular here. I have a couple of the utility totes that I use on a daily basis. They are overpriced but it's well-made. It's a christian based organization. An acquaintance sells it and she makes close to 6 figures a year selling the stuff since she's been selling it for a while and has a lot of recruits underneath her.

I've never really fully looked at a catalog or been to a party so I can't really say overall whether I like the stuff or don't, but it does annoy me when someone on Facebook sells the stuff and announces it all the damn time. That and the scentsy BS. Set up a Facebook business page and people can "like" it if they want. Annoying.
It seems to me that my friends who really like 31 are also very into Vera Bradley. Both are NMS. Its pretty expensive. My friend sells it and the bags are cute but I dont have a use for a $40 tote bag with my intials on it.
I only know of one person that sells it. I've never been invited to any parties nor have I seen the products in person, but I glanced through the online catalog and nothing appealed to me and was all very NMS.

I've never heard of it before.
Man. Please don't let another thing catch on here. I am so sick of being invited to parties for tupperware, jewelery (this one isn't too bad, but I refused to be guilted into buying overpriced baubles, ha), vitamins, baskets, etc.
I don't even think it's a suburb vs city thing because I think a lot of my friends are either SAHM and want to make cash/get the girls together, but my city friends just need/want the extra cash.
I've received a huge tote and an insulated bag as gifts. I wouldn't buy them myself but have used the huge tote when we go on day trips to the beach to carry all of my daughter's stuff. The insulated bag is nice to carry snacks.
A friend of mine had a party, so my mom and I went. We combined our order to get the discounts and I got a lunch bag and a large tote thing for the back of my car. I'm not sure what my mom got, but unless I'm invited to another party (and decide to go) I prob won't be buying anything else. I do like the stuff I got though.
I didn't know anything about it until I was on my way to Miami a few weeks ago and a bunch of people that were here in Atlanta for a 31 conference were on the train in the airport with us.

I have several things from them. My lunch bag from work, a couple of organization containers, a purse with my first initial on it, and maybe a few others. I also unapologetically carry Vera Bradley stuff. It's the suburbs in Pennsylvania. This stuff is the norm here.
That said, I really like everything I have gotten from them and would not hesitate to buy from them again if I were invited to a party. And their customer service is great, Some of the embroidery was coming out of my one purse, and they sent out a new one with a postage-paid return label for me to send back the other. I was impressed that they didn't question it at all.
