Based on the posts I see here, you all are partially responsible for my spending spree, LOL. kidding.
Roku and cords. We got hooked watching old X-Files episodes at the home@way--rental house we had for our guests last weekend. Then I came home and you all were chatting about Netflix, streaming....so.
QUESTION re: Roku: Okay, so now do we want to sign up for Amazon Prime, Hulu or Netflix?
Next purchase was:
A Weber Genesis Grill- E-330 for Mr. Pom. Belated birthday gift from my mom (I threw in some $$ too). We did get free delivery and 10% off at Lowe's so... that helps? Sort of. Our Charbroil is totally dead but we had it for 9 years. RIP BBQ trooper.
+ Grill cover. Got a highly reviewed one from Amazon for 1/2 the cost, instead of the more costly Weber cover.
Someone else tell me about your splurges and commiserate.
I also went to the farmer's market and got zucchini, Jersey corn, spices, pork cheeks, and squash blossoms that I just stuffed with goat cheese and fried.
Then I went to an Italian deli and got fresh mozzarella cheese plus some tiramisu cups since FIL is here for an early Father's Day dinner.
The Macy's near my house is closing so they're running a big sale. I should stop by today or tomorrow ... I'd like some shirts (everyday plus work), capris, and MH is building a headboard for our guest bedroom so we want a new comforter set.
We just spent $810 at IKEA. And now we get to assemble it all!
::sob::
What did you buy?
Lowe's just called about delivery on the grill. They asked Mr. P if he wanted it put together. He almost said "F-yeah" as opposed to a proper "Yes please". He put our old grill together wrong, so it's nice to now it will be done properly, LOL.

A Hemnes China cabinet. Two Brimnes cabinets for the dining room that will be our bar. And 3 Kallaxes for our hallway. Our hallway is almost 20 feet long and is about 6 feet wide, so the Kallaxes will fit great there and provide tons of storage.
The Fit is totally loaded down, but H said we're getting over 40mpg. So at least that's MM?
I just got a goodie box from Sur la Table to help with my Blue Apron recipe prep. A new knife and some herb scissors & some other cooking goodies. I'm such a chef now!!!
We bought drinks and snacks for a boat trip we took to celebrate my mom's birthday!
We will spend more money on food (dinner out, breakfast, groceries), entertainment (Jurassic World), and then more boring stuff (gas, oil change). I'm hoping I can talk FI into a quick ulta trip but he's gotten a little excited by all of the wedding spending.
DH picked up Chipotle for dinner last night. Today, I sold a few things at a friend's yard sale and made $53 and had a delivery for Goodwill afterward (Tax write-off!), then DH grabbed fast food for the kids for lunch, and I will be running to return $45 worth of stuff to Kohl's later. At some point I need to buy some DVDs for fil for Father's Day, but I think I will still come out ahead, or close to it, on money this weekend. That's a rare feat.
Nyquil (again). I cannot stop getting colds. Can I move home now?
Oh, and two new paintings from our latest trip!
I am sorry you are still sick! Is everyone else at your house finally well I hope? You guys were like a plague house as we were leaving for Up North.
Can we see your paintings?
So far, it is just me that has this cold. It is a new one from the other stuff that has been going around the house. I just need them to hold out a couple more weeks til school ends.
Ignore the frames, we are getting new ones. Sorry for the bad pics too. We couldn't decide and so my husband took pics of a couple with his phone.
Great paintings! I hope everyone stay wells and you are better quick!
Thanks! We visited the lighthouse the next day and it was so nice. We probably wouldn't have gone if we hadn't purchased the painting. It is the oldest working lighthouse in the world.
Dry aged grass fed ribeyes for tomorrow, sirloins for the kids. Various items to cook alongside (corn on the cob, mushrooms, giant potatoes). Plus a delicious cake.

We got the S-330 last weekend and are loving it so far. It replaced our 8 year old Kenmore that had become a health hazard and cooks SO much better. We did get the Weber cover but only because MIL bought it for DH's birthday. My parents are chipping in a little on the grill as DH's birthday present since both are having health problems right now and can't shop. Hope you guys enjoy yours too!
Absolutely nothing which feels really good for once!!
I literally think we're staying home all day today and tomorrow, but I might go to $5 yoga tomorrow night.
Today we hosted the in-laws and grandparents in law for Father's Day, so that required money a few days ago to get food but now we just get to stay home and eat it all.
