I believe in ghosts. Since sleeping alone, I have woken up three times with dark shadows above me. Most recently, I felt like they were attacking me and I woke up screaming bloody murder. My roommate knocked on my door and we were both shaking and sweating over it.

I did some sewing tonight in my underwear lol. I made a skirt and was sick of taking my pants off to try the skirt on. I was in my basement where the only windows are in the bedrooms but the doors were closed.
I still feel like I was scaring my dog even though she has sees me in the buff daily lol.
ETA: I still sing the No Doubt song to spell BANANAS and the Oscar Meyer song to spell BOLOGNA <-- however it still looks funny so maybe I remember the song incorrectly.

Wait, how is banana hard to spell? There are literally 3 letters, and it's phonetic.
Maybe my confession should be that I have no idea what song you people are talking about.
A real confession. Although I'm happy that my H is back, really happy, I kind of miss being able to do such minimal housework and still have it look mostly clean while he was gone.
Also I just pissed off one of my best friends by telling her to stop bitching about feeling like she needs to make appearances at squadron events when she doesn't like anyone. I just told her that if she hates going to things, then don't go! There's no point in bitching. Either accept it and fake a smile, or don't participate.
ETA: I feel guilty that I made her mad, but dammit I feel like I'm right.
THIS SHIT IS BANANAS! B-A-N-A-N-A-S. I SAID THIS SHIT IS BANANAS. B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
For real? This is a song? And it's not from some kid's album?
My future hypothetical child will be listening to if I have to listen to kid's music.
Feel sorry for my non-existent children.
This song may or may not be on Lilly's iPod that she listens to as she plays every day. He also has a HP song that we sing... because it makes me laugh... and we are lame.

OK, I have another, brought to you by tonight.
When we get wine, which we do often (nearly daily), I'll tell H to get anything he wants. I do this knowing he'll get a much more $ bottle than I would b/c I'm cheap. And still, after all these years, self-conscious about spending money I didn't earn. So, my cutoff is about $9, and I don't ask about his. I assume it's over $20 on occasion.

For whatever reason I always want to put double Ns. I blame my name for that.

I think I am going to start shopping for a few bottles of wine a week so that I have a really good stash built up for after I get back from the hospital with the baby. It is just one less thing I'll have to run to the store for while healing/adjusting to being a mother of 2/having H gone etc.
But I feel like buying it will definitely result in a lot of side eyes right now.

Maybe you can ask the store manager to help you pick out wine that can sit for a few months. I just learned this, but a lot of wine that is sold in liquor stores are expected to be opened right away (in a day or two), so they may not age as well in your home.

Eh. I totally visited the ABC store and purchased liquor. It was for K but no one in the store could know that. I didn't care. And totally bought wine on more than one occasion. All that while I was obviously PG.
Do what you gotta and screw what everyone else may or may not think.

That would avoid the side-eyes, maybe.
I did not know this! I usually buy for the week or buy 2x a week so it never lasts that long. But if I start buying now it will have to last atleast a month in a wine rack. Interesting!

Consider it being optimistic. People have all different reasons for buying alcohol. I helped organize a baby shower for someone. She said that she got side eyed while buying appreciation wine for the people who threw her the shower.
I had another friend who went shopping for alcohol right after her second was born. Well, she had a really awkward time fitting the case of beer and the baby carrier into the cart at the same time. She couldn't help feeling that people must be staring at her thinking she was the worst mom in the world.
