Art/drawing class every Wed afternoon. It's very mellow, they listen to spa music and draw animals for an hour. I sort of wish I could join too, it looks like a great stress reliever.
DS - 3
We had him in a tumbling class that just ended this past Friday. Of the 4 classes that he had, he only participated once. He would only do it if his sister got out there. Next round of classes start next month, I signed both kids up.
Cheer, gymnastics, piano, jazz dance, art, hula, and Girl Scouts. Next month we'll add soccer to the mix, which goes till November. Also right now she has swim for a half hour M-F.

My kids are 9, 7, 5, and 4. They're all in one activity (dance for the girls, gymnastics for DS) plus the oldest two are in scouts.
We don't have the time or money for them to do anything more than that. They did do an occasional after school science class (a 5 week thing) last year. If it works for our schedule they'll do it again if it's offered.
All of this...sounds exhausting. And expensive. But mostly exhausting.
Well I stay home so it's not that bad, and my H and I don't mind it. We are on the go type people . As my kids get older they will for sure have to whittle down activities, since they will get more homework, etc. Hockey is very expensive but my DS loves it, has been playing for 2 years now and seems to have a proclivity towards it so we're rolling with it for now. The commitment is big but it's worth it to us!
I stay home, too. I seriously can't imagine that schedule. When do they have time to just, you know, relax?

He's 2 and is in soccer and gymnastics for the summer. He starts art classes next month too. We don't have any plans to sign him up for anything this fall though, other than going back to daycare.
It's summer, so I have plans to put the in swim classes but that's it for now. I think we are signing up DD for softball in the fall and DS will try out soccer but one activity at a time is my motto. I cannot imagine living with some of these schedules you people have. HOLY MOLY!!!

Not that I have to justify anything to you, but we've been home since noon today. Tomorrow they have nothing until swimming in the late afternoon. They get plenty of down time to just play. And they enjoy going to their activities. If they didn't want to do something they wouldn't have to. All my son wants to do all day long is play sports so it's a good outlet for him.
They're almost 4, and 6 and are in gymnastics once a week.
I'm signing ds up for first tee (golf) in the fall. In also heavily considering dance for dd, if I can find somewhere that doesn't scandalize me. Not sure if they'll continue gymnastics or switch entirely.

Mine are five:
E - swimming, soccer, hockey. In the Fall, he will have swimming, soccer, and t-ball. M - swimming, soccer, dance. In the Fall, she will have swimming, soccer, and lacrosse.
Ice skating/hockey may also be part of the picture in the Fall as well, but right now it's up in the air.

For the bean's activities, they're only an hour long session (except for art, which is 90 minutes). I also don't schedule weekend extracurriculars, so she actually gets a lot of downtime.
And then she spends that asking me what we're going to do that day. Sheesh.
DD (6): Dance/cheer 7 hrs per week Swimming lessons. 2 half-hour lessons per week Golf 1 lesson per week with after lesson practice Soccer. 2 one-hour games per week and one week of camp
DS (4): Swimming lessons same as DD Soccer. One week of camp
How do you working mothers get your kids to all these things?
Or is someone else chauffering?
For us, classes are after camp/school, or on the weekend. Which sucks balls, because right now soccer is at 8:30am on Saturdays.
It helps that everything is five minutes away from our house, and my work hours are flexible enough that I can pick them up by 3:30 and take them to things, but if/when I change jobs, that's a different story.
Ds1 is 8. Our rule is that he he needs to be in one sport/athletic team every season ( except summer). Other than that it's up to him. This spring he was in soccer (1 practice and 1 game a week), Lego club (once a week, after school), a science class (once a week, after school) and had a reading tutor once a week.
Summers he doesn't do activities because he's in camp from 8-4 every day and is wiped out.
In the fall he is stopping his reading tutor (yeah!!) and starting an instrument.

6yr old daughter- 2 activities pre-competitive gymnastics (two 2 hr long classes a week) and 30 minute private swimming class. swimming class.
5yr old son- 2 activities. 45 minute recc gymnastics class twice a week (since he's there anyways waiting for his sister) and 30 minute private swimming class.
Before school they would do 3-5 activities a week. But we didn't do preschool or daycare with them so it never felt like too much.

I'm lucky I can get he kids by 4 most days. But my other working friends generally have one parent who can get them to an Activity by 6/630 or they have a nanny. Our tee ball was at 6:30 and swim lessons have spots from 3-8.

During the school year, DD1 is in music lessons, spring soccer and fall soccer (one game + one weeknight practice/week). DD2 is in spring/fall soccer (combined practice/game on Saturdays) and will start music lessons this fall.
We also do a music class at our rec center.
That's pretty much it. This summer, DD1 is doing three weeks of day camp and DD2 is doing one; they both finished up two weeks of daily swim lessons; and that's the extent of our structured activities.
4.5. She's in swimming twice a week until end of July and that's it for summer. During the year, she did dance and gynmastics claases as well as skiing with us every weekend and usually once or twice drunk the week.
