I can't think of anything special we have in MN. We're very boring.
When I was visiting a friend in MN, we went to some goofy, divey restaurant that served pickles, spread with cream cheese, wrapped in ham, and sliced - like pickle sushi. They were amazing. When I was pregnant with DD, those were my biggest craving, only instead of ham, I wanted to roll the cream cheesed pickle in crushed up Doritos. I maintain that would have been delicious.

You should try salami smeared with cream cheese wrapped around a banana pepper. ZOMG it is amazing.
Ivar's was soooooo good. However, my college roommate set me up with a guy who first borrowed $20 from her for the date, and then took me to Ivar's inside the Northgate mall for dinner. That was the date. The mall food court. There was an actual Ivar's restaurant like 20 minutes away, but he took me to the food court. And then talked about his eyebrows for an hour. The clam chowder was amazeballs, though.
Lol were they nice eyebrows at least?
Newp. They were too thin. He'd had them waxed that morning, and was worried they were all red. Yup, shared all that on a first date. Winner.

Bakers Caribbean chicken sandwich is a whole mouthful of yum.
SoCal also has the hat
OMG The Hat! Yes!!! Gravy fries and pastrami mmmmm.
YESSSSSS. The Hat is so freaking good!
And this isn't food, but SoCal has the best street signs I've ever seen. Even lots of smaller streets have huge backlit signs in the middle of the intersection. I'm always surprised when I visit another city and their street signs suck.

My friend does this with ham. It is sooooo good. I call it her white trash appetizer.
Rora - you eat pizza that is so crispy you can fold it? Nooooooo! I'll take the Philly area pizza any day and every day.
What do we have - scrapple, cheesesteaks, italian hoagies, real water ice, lots of good south jersey produce (blueberries, corn, tomatoes) and probably other things I'm not thinking of.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT ANYTHING LIMP? (I'm assuming you mean "can't" fold it)

Who wants a slice of pizza you have to use a knife and fork to eat like it's a piece of cake. No you want to pick that sucka up, fold it so, you can eat and walk.
There is a raspberry chipotle sauce that you can get in the states, that I can't find here. You can put it with cream cheese and eat it with crackers. It's amazing. It's actually probably better for my waist line if I can't find it here.
Google says its like a snow cone, or Hawaiian ice or something
Not water ice. A distant cousin. There is a chain of water ice (Rita's) not sure how far west they go. That's the closest you'll get most places and it is good. There are a few local places that are better. Anything you can buy in a freezer case isn't the same.

Yes, sorry, can't fold. It's not limp. Well, maybe the tip of the pizza flops down if you don't use 2 hands. It's…flexible. Crust is chewy.
