Since we've had a few polls lately... What are your absolute favorite cities? The ones where someone mentions them on this board or IRL and you wish you could go back right now?

(Inspired by a thread I just very enthusiastically responded to on MM asking for Rome reco's.)

In no order: Shanghai, Montreal, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Chicago, NYC, Washington DC.

I also love Amsterdam, but I think part of that is because it's close to where we are and the people are so much friendlier than where we live that it seems like an escape. If we were visiting from the states I'm not sure it would make my favorite cities list.

Washington D.C. (I've only been there as a tourist but I really loved the vibe)

I haven't been many places internationally but in Italy, I loved Venice the most.

I love cities. Of places I've lived, Miami. I also love NYC. Of places I've visited, I absolutely fell in love with Lisbon. It has so much old-world charm and beauty, I could wander around forever. On my last trip, I was surprised by how much I liked Milan.
