Now that I know of the 4x points event Sunday, I need a few suggestions. I need to get more concealer. Any other suggestions? I'm thinking possibly the ABH couture palette and something else.
I am very likely going to get the MUFE Artist palette in nudes, an eyeliner (Sephora matte contour in Sly Like a Fox)
Things I'm lusting after are basically a few shades of each of the following: Becca mineral blush UD blush UD lipsticks and glosses Bite Frozen Berries collection
All have been reviewed in Temptalia over the last six months or so. I'm trying to cull my list down to something reasonable.

if you're in the mood, BeautyBroadcast / EmilyNoel is doing these relatively cool vids where whe does half her face in prestige makeup, then does the other side in drugstore dupes. And she takes pictures hours out to show how it's wearing.
She's done two so far, and the drugstore makeup fiend in me is so so in love with them.
I returned my Smashbox palette to Nordstroms last night. I was so good and didn't buy anything else, but I fell in love with this and really want to get it before it's gone.
That's gorgeous! What BB palette is it, and is it at Sephora?
It's at Nordstom and part of the anniversary sale. It's $85
Cosmetic Company Outlet. They can't advertise but are at many (but not all) outlets, you can google for ones near you. They carry brands like MAC, bobbi brown, and others under that parent company (sometimes bumble and bumble, for instance).
A lot of LE stuff will go there, plus just extra. It is good to have an idea of the costs, because not everything is a good deal I admit. And its just hit and miss on stocking - but sometimes really really awesome.
I got the myley Cyrus lipglass because Pixy has led by example with layering it over FOF. I ordered just that from Nordstrom and loved not just the free shipping but the killer samples. I picked this really good size nars audacious mascara as one of the three free samples with purchase! Take note, Sephora!

Just back from Walgreens to pick up drugstore stuff for Vegas vacation.
Nothing earth-shattering, 'cept...
...They had Milani Multitasker. Right there on the wall.
...got a Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in the Brightening color, because I've heard such good things about it, and lately I'm having 'issues' with dark shadows under my eyes. I have the Sephora gel concealer, which I like, but I feel like I need something else.
Also got a trial size of the Loreal Infallible Pro Spray & Set, just because it was there, and now that I'm home I'm seeing that the reviews of it are pretty fantastic. Apparently it's a crazy dupe for UD All Nighter (and apparently this makes sense because UD is wholly owned by Loreal). Still spendy for a drugstore setting spray, but maybe worth it. I figure Vegas in August will be a pretty good test of ANY setting spray, so I'll keep you informed.

Speaking of Vegas vacation, I think I might need help editing down what I should bring, makeup-wise.
I want to BRING ALL THE MAKEUPS. ...and even though we're flying first class (!) and therefore can check two bags each, I think my H would consider divorce if I brought a whole suitcase full of makeup. Especially considering that skincare and sunscreen would have to be shoved into his.

i got this in a target beauty box a few months back, and i LOVE it! it's the only setting spray i've ever used, but it does the trick for me.

I imagine during the day, you will want a light face with a bold lip. Good for sunglasses, less makeup to sweat off. So I'd bring a good neutral palette and a handful of badass lipsticks. Evenings, you should have as much fun as you can. Bring the palette(s) you have with the most outrageous colors ever, and some high drama highlighter.
And she takes pictures hours out to show how it's wearing.
I wish every blogger/vlogger did this because I think almost anyone with an ounce of experience can make lousy makeup look good upon initial application. I would especially love to see this with eyeliner/mascara and lipstick.

she just did a brief cut to it in the first one, and a longer one in the second.
...my guess is because the comments were all about how drugstore stuff wouldn't / couldn't wear as well as prestige. She put that to bed, though. In both of them, the wear on both sides was pretty even.
I do wish that others would show how makeup wears, though. I put it on and feel like 4 hours out I got nothin', but now I'm realizing what I have is typical wear. The photos are so much better than just a description or a "this wore really well!!"
In the end, though, I was super surprised at how well the drugstore stuff wore.

I just went to Walgreens to buy tampons. I was hoping to find the W&W bronzer that Temptalia reviewed today, but no luck. I did wind up buying W&W Comfort Zone though, and it is as nice in person as you all say it is on here. Walgreens is having a 25% off sale on W&W right now, so I suggest you all head on over there and pick it up.
They had the Milani multitasker but the lightest shade they had was medium.
I love my laura mercier palette more than any other palette I have ever owned. It might be because the colors are my colors and all usable. I do feel like I am getting superior color payoff and blendability to my UD palettes. I put everything else away and I have so much more room now. It's a phase. I am sure in two or three weeks the new makeup itch will be back.

CVS just opened up in my town. They had Milani AND NYX. I'm super excited. LOL I bought one of the rose blushes, a matte lipstick and a regular lipstick (all from milani)

After I played with my huge Ulta order today I thought, "I never need to buy any new makeup again." And not 2 hours later I took my $71 ebates check in the form of a Sephora gift card... BUT my plan is to use it in a few months when the fun holiday sets come out that I will no doubt need:-)
Also, I've been using a sample of MAC False Lash Extreme Black mascara for a few weeks and decided today I really like it. In about 5 years, when I use up all my other mascara samples I think I'm going to get it.
