DS is 13 months old and is only 18.5 pounds and 28 inches. He's always been under the fifth percentile for weight, and still easily fits into 9 month clothing. His pedi isn't concerned because even though he's small his growth curve is fine. Who knows what he'll end up - I'm 5 feet tall and H is 6 feet tall and our families are all heights in between.
DD rode that 1-5%ile line from birth (5lb 13oz) until she was almost 2yo. Now she's around 10-15%ile. Her two year appt height put her at an adult height of like 5'1". This would be funny since both H and I are taller.
Yep, dd is teeny. She was 19lbs, 2oz at her 15 month appt. She's been pretty consistently along the 15-20th curve since four months IIRC. Similar for height. I'll admit I was more concerned that maybe I wasn't producing enough when she was EBF, but the pedi was never worried. Girl eats plenty, is super active, meets her milestones, good with me.

Ditto to what @tokenhoser said. DD is 2 and only 22 lbs. She still wears 12-18 month clothes (mostly bottoms- girl has no hips!) We're saving a lot on clothes. She's easy to carry around which is nice these days given her dramatic drop-to-the-ground tantrums and because she looks like she's only 1, people think she's a candidate for mensa when she starts talking to them.

I do enjoy the fact that DS is easier to carry since he's still little. And he just started walking a month ago and people are usually shocked when they see him walking because he looks so young
DD was huge at birth (99th) but dropped quickly to 5th and stayed there until she was preschool age. Now at almost six she is 36lbs.
We would often meet six month olds that weighed more than she did at 12mo -2yrs haha. I don't have her one year stats in her baby book but at 11 months she was 16.5 lbs. She was 14lbs from 6-9 months. She wore 3-6 month clothes for an entire year. Even now she gets a good two or three years out of everything she wears. Which is handy for holiday themed shirts lol.
Dd is on the smaller side. She'll be 3 next week and is 28 pounds, not sure how tall. Around 38". She's thin so people always tell me she's tall. She's not (though she's higher up in percentage for height than weight). She's about the same height as a typical young 2 year old.
P is tiny. He's in the 10th percentile for weight and 3rd percentile for height now and I feel like he's huge--he's been hanging out on the 1st-5th percentile since birth. He is 5.5 months and 14 lbs and change. Still fits easily into 0-3m clothing width-wise though some is a little bit short now.
It's really weird because C was and is kind of a giant baby/kid. My frame of reference is very skewed.
Squishy hit the length growth chart for the first time in her entire life at 15 months. She was 28.5 inches (3rd percentile) and 19lbs. At 12 months she was 26.25 inches and 17lbs 12oz.
Squeaky is heavier but only about half an inch taller.
Pediatrician is not concerned because they maintain their curves.
Random people stop me and tell me Squishy is so young to be walking! All the time. Nope guys, she's 16months old not a gross motor prodigy.
DD has been under the 10th percentile since she was born. We have moved and seen several different pedis and none are worried since her curve is normal and she is proportionate. I was always tiny and while DH is tiny he is skinny so I'm not surprised. She is 18 lbs at 15 months and can still fit in 9/12 month clothes.
My daughter is 3.5 and about 25lbs. She's teeny tiny. My older son is about 34lbs at 5.5, so he's little too but she's itty bitty. He's around the 8th percentile I think and I'm not sure she's even on the charts. They both started out average and just steadily dropped throughout the first year or two and have maintained their low percentiles since. You know, I go through periods where I'm really worried, especially when I see them with their peers or after dr visits when I see the percentiles, but they both are still growing and I'm fairly certain that DH was a late grower too and was still growing into college even. So I'm hoping that's how they'll be. He's 6'1" now and I'm 5'5" so there's no other reason for them to be so small.
DD is tiny. She was I think 17lbs even at 12 months. She'll be 3 in September and is only 25lbs. She's maintained her curve, so no doctor has ever said anything. She's always been between 1-5% for weight.
It is nice that we get a lot of use out of clothes.

My DD weighed 18 pounds at 18 months. She is 9 now and about 25% for height. Her BMI is up to 5%. She weighs the same as her 6 year old brother, but is a head taller.
She is not what they expect of two tall parents. She had a lot of testing from birth to age 3 or so. Diabetes, CF, a bunch of genetic stuff, some absorption type test, endocrin testing for short stature and bone plate stuff. They just wanted to make sure they were not missing anything.
My oldest has always been tiny. Her 2 yr younger brother caught up with her in weight by 9 months. She has stayed around the same percentile so there has never been a concern. She is a little sensitive about her height, but holds her own as the tiniest kid in her grade.

L is tall and skinny - plus with lots of hair, and people always think she's 2-3 years old and get concerned when she isn't walking or talking much yet, lol. She's right under 20 pounds, and I'm not sure of her height (pedi appt tomorrow!) and doctor has never been concerned. H and I are both tall, so if she's not, she got some weird gene that hasn't surfaced much in either of our families, lol (H is 6'2" and I'm the shorty in my family at 5'8").
Squishy hit the length growth chart for the first time in her entire life at 15 months. She was 28.5 inches (3rd percentile) and 19lbs. At 12 months she was 26.25 inches and 17lbs 12oz.

Lol I heard that all the time when my teeny 9.5m old started walking because she looked even younger than that and 9.5m is early as it is!!
Yes my younger DD is super tiny. She is in the 5th or so %ile for weight, but not on the chart for height. We have been to a nutritionist, and see an endocrinologist yearly but so far they all agree that she is just small but otherwise totally normal.
Around 1 year they did a chromosome map to see if there were any chromosomal abnormalities that would account for her size but everything came back normal.
After age 3, our annual visits to the endocrine will involve bloodwork that will test for growth hormone, and then we may need to make a decision to go down that road but right now I am burying my head in the sand about it.
My older DD on the other hand is tall for her age. My husband is 6' and I am 5'6"ish.
My DS is small but has started making bigger gains lately. At his 1 year appointment last week he was 18.5 lbs and 28.7 inches. I took him back today for a sick visit and he had gained a half pound in 5 days. We were so psyched to move out of the 1-2% in his early months to 14% at 12 months.
My H and I are not tall people (though our fathers are) so looks like DS will continue in our paths.
ETA: There are two other small babies in DS's room at daycare, both smaller than him. Then the youngest baby (10 months old) is one of the largest.
DD is small but she started out small (5lb14oz). She is now 2.5 and 24 lbs. Not sure on height now but she was 32 inches at 2. She has stayed between 3 and 10% so her pedi is fine with it. She still fits in 12 month clothes (tshirts and shorts, she needs 18mo in pants and dresses for length)
Yes, my son has always been small, always been the 5th and 7th% for height and weight. He stays on his curve so his pedi hasn't been super worried, but now that he is 7 we had to do a bone growth scan to see if he is behind in growth or if he has a growth spurt coming, and what his bone age is. He is 18 months behind in bone age, so he will have a growth spurt 18 months later than most boys do. And he will most likely be between 5'7 and 5'9.
DS1 is small, under 10th percentile. DS2 is average, about 30th percentile.
DS1 makes me a bit worried/sad when he's with a big group of kids his age. He's usually the smallest boy. It doesn't stop him from having friends but I worry a lot about when he's older. MH was always a small kid until a massive growth spurt in high school and he remembers being embarrassed about his size. I hate that.
