I'm planning my bedroom makeover this weekend sorry for all the posts.
So I am debating
Do I
A. Paint all my walls a dark charcoal (We have tons of natural light and I am not scared of a super dark color having done it before)
B. Paint all my walls a dark charcoal and do a metallic stencil in a trellis pattern on the bed wall as an accent
C. Paint all my walls a light grey, and do the bed wall the dark charcoal with the metallc stencil.
I am not generally a fan of accent walls so I am now leaning toward painting the whole room dark and doing the stencil on one wall.
Here's the paint color I chose
And I will be going for a similar look, with a white headboard and grey and white mixed bedding - but not as feminine as this photo. More of a rustic, industrial style mixed with country.
A or B. I personally don't do stenciling but it could look beautiful! I think if you're not generally a fan of accent walls, C would really make it stand out but B would be more subtle.
If you get enough light, I would go for the entire room in charcoal. There is something that is so soothing about a large, dark room...for me anyway. My bedroom is dark teal and my son's room is charcoal grey. I love both rooms and find them to be very calming despite everyone telling me it would be "cave like" (who wouldn't want to sleep in a cave anyway?)
I actually love accent walls, so the trellis on one wall gets my vote as well.
I'm building it myself. I am debating between a simple rectangle or one with an arch/arc. It'll be a plywood form covered in batting and then white fabric.
