Hi! It's pretty slow around here. Things are good here! The Ant-Man movie was really good, and I'm SO excited for Spectre, especially given how much Q is in the trailer (I have huge crush on Ben Whishaw). I didn't have much idea about Suicide Squad but that movie trailer looked really great! I think that's all my fandom opinions. :-)

Hi! Still around, just busy. Work's crazy right now. I've got a list of things I want to see (including ant man) but I keep getting invited to stuff. No fabulous BF like BlackCanary, but my kids are pretty damn awesome.

I've been having a blast at GenCon for the past few days! We playtested a few interesting games, won a few others, and played as many as we had time for. I was excited to snag a ticket to one of the giant RoboRally games (played with LEGO Mindstorm robots via smart phone) and actually scored a point.

Another highlight? I got to meet darkling_glory IRL! (She's awesome, if you were wondering!)

Aww!! Gillie is awesome as well! She took my extreme Gen Con exuberance in stride.

The Con was a blast and I'm already counting down until next year.

For Dragon Con I'm doing Ysera from WoW, based a fan art design I found. My husband is helping me incorporate programmable LEDs in it and it's going to look really cool if I can get it finished! Then I'm making gloves and a new staff, plus some more LEDs for my druid costume from last year

Life has been crazy, we are in the middle of a move for a new job, and have 1 week before my son starts school, who just had his tonsils out . We have to get the house ready for selling.

We are having some major issues with Ponyo. My daughter is now terrified of her, like screaming and freaking out if we just say we are letting Ponyo out. It stems from next door dogs getting out and attacking me, wasn't bad but she saw it, Ponyo accidentally biting her for treats, and just how hyper she it. Its bad, we tried private training, therapy and the last 3 months have just been hell. Our daughter still loves Ponyo, but only when she is in the crate or one of us is holding her. Last week we were sitting on the couch and she asked to give Ponyo a treat, so I had her sit next to me, and Ponyo ended up pulling her off the couch, and before I could do anything started rough housing and scratched her up pretty bad. We feel so bad about it, but the Vet and therapist say Ponyo isn't going to calm down for 2 more years or so. I feel like its animal abuse keeping her in her crate as much as we have been, she getting two walks a day and some outside time, but otherwise I can't get her out.
We really are out of idea at this time.

Fun stuff, we will be moving closer to our D&D group so more games, and we have been adopted by a cat. We had a siamese looking cat show up, declawed! I can't bring it inside, but we took it to get scanned no chip, and it was so skinny we been feeding it, kids loved it, and super friendly. Named it Mr Pickles,who we found him a home next month. Friend of ours is coming to get him, and keeping that name.
We also had 15 baby turtles hatch out of my front garden, that was cute.

Thanks! I'll definitely be willing to show off, lol. We're hoping to start getting things integrated into the costume this week--Dragon Con is coming up fast!!

I'm sorry Ponyo is giving you guys trouble! But she's very lucky to have a family working so hard with her <3
