I still have no clue who will leave.
I read that Vanessa's game totally blew up a few hours ago. The Austwins finally have figured out that she needs to go and has final two deals with all of them. I think Vanessa's finally going home unless she wins HOH or veto. Now that I said that, she probably will.
Here's how Johnny Mac can make himself one of the greatest players in Big Brother history: put up Julia and Vanessa. At that point, he can evict Vanessa regardless of what Steve does since the worst it could be is 1-1... provided Vanessa doesn't win veto. The second he puts up Julia, Austin will keep her because of his feelings for Liz (and because he now knows it's the better game move).

I think Liz is getting sent packing tomorrow. She is the stronger in competitions of the twins. Plus I don't see Julia risking her game for Austin when it the two of them left in the house of that three person alliance.
I really would like Johnny Mac to win HOH tomorrow.

I haven't read spoilers since late Thurs. evening when they crowned HOH. I'm trying to exhibit control until Tues. night. Remember that the schedule changed, so it's on Tues.

I read the spoilers. At least Johnny Mac won veto. I want him to take out Vanessa so badly. He could win the money if he does.
I am betting that Steve will leave Tues. If Vanessa breaks a possible 1-1 tie and evicts him personally, he will take it as a strong game play move, maybe even a compliment, and vote for her in the end. He's strategic and smart.
On the other hand, Austin and Liz are emotional and stupid. If Vanessa cuts one of them, they will whine and whine and go full-throatedly to try to deny Vanessa the win.
Vanessa will go with the safer strategy. She's trying to get the Austwins' jury votes at all costs. She's running scenarios with m&ms for hours, thinking several moves ahead.

It's going to take a lot of luck for Vanessa to get to final two, though. I don't see anybody choosing to take her. She will have to put together a run of comps wins.

I'm thinking that exactly, if she doesn't go on a continued winning streak, she won't make it to the final two but if she does, she's a shoo-in to win it. I think rationally, even the Austwins will have to admit she orchestrated basically the voting out of most everyone in jury if not the season, outsmarting every one there wishing they were as good as she was.

This could still change, of course, but the last summaries I read say that Vanessa has decided to blindside Austin. Supposedly, she doesn't want Steve or Liz to know. Only Johnny Mac knows. V's strategy with this is to make Steve and Liz so overwhelmed and distracted during HOH that they will lose, and John will win.
Hope it's not a trap to "frame" Johnny Mac with Liz and Austin.
I am crossing my fingers so hard for this to happen. I want two people I like, Steve and Johnny Mac, to stay and go to final two. Certainly, there has to be some kind of mental comp that Steve can ace.

I think the eviction show is tonight, and live feeds are supposed to be down until tomorrow after the episode. I bet there will be some sort of leak from the audience. I will post if I know who left. Even a brief leak from inside the house could give away who goes if someone hears the voice of Austin or Steve.
My ideal end game: Steve wins HOH, puts up Liz and Vanessa, noms stay the same due to a win by Steve or John, and Johnny makes the move of the season by evicting Vanessa. I trust that power in his hands way more than in Steve's. Johnny's less wimpy and knows he has to get big-time "blood on hands" (pardon the overused BB cliche) to get the jury votes.
Steve or John win the final HOH and take each other. Honestly, if brilliant Steve loses a mental comp to dumb Liz, he deserves to lose.
I'm too afraid to hope. I will be VERY VERY disappointed if Steve goes and we have the rotten showmance in final two.

I have looked at every Big Brother spoiler site I know of, and the final four result to the best of my knowledge has not leaked. For the show last night, CBS must've had an audience of employees. Evel Dick Donato said that they did that with Audrey, too, so that there was no chance of a tepid or negative reaction.
By the way, I am so over Frankie and his sister. I can't believe they were inflicted on us again.

Johnny really needs to make this next HOH the one he wins and then he can lay it all out there how he's orchestrated himself to be in the right place at the right time to take out the season's only real threat. Bye, Vanessa!

According to a spoiler posted on the Jokers Update site, Austin was evicted by Vanessa's vote, and Johnny Mac won HOH!
If Vanessa doesn't win veto, she's gone. Steve wants to evict her as far as I know. I see Johnny putting up Vanessa and Liz with Steve as the decider. I guess he can do whatever is best for his end game because it really doesn't matter who he puts up. Only veto matters. Maybe it's best to keep Vanessa off the block and make her think she's safe?
Four minutes before the show, and I am now starting to think this is fake. I only saw it on Jokers, nowhere else. I hope it's not.

Steve has been mumbling his jury speech in the house. He's someone who has to practice his speeches because he is better in writing than verbally.
Part of his speech is that he had a final two with Vanessa and had no problem cutting her. He broke up Austwins, got rid of a key member in an alliance that never included him (goblins), and cut Liz, who won competitions. Johnny Mac didn't win competitions. Obviously, he's banking on the fact that he and Johnny can take out Liz at F3, esp. since there's a mental comp for at least one of the three rounds.

so we know now that Steve won HOH - I don't know if he's got the balls enough to vote out Vanessa. Then again, he may not have to considering that Liz will be out for Vanessa's head and Johnny probably wants her gone because she's a competitive, physical player. JM needs to win the veto, end of story.
I was sooooo glad to see Austin go and he was P.I.S.S.E.D. about it!!! Oh man. Also deluded because he actually thought he was going to win. Say whaaaaaat?! Bet he's just as pissed at JM though, for flipping.
So, Vanessa and JM on the block, Vanessa wins veto.
It will be interesting to see what Vanessa decides to do with her game from here. If she leaves Liz in and Liz is next to her in F2, Vanessa loses. She may want to take her out now, but that's risky, too, going to F3 with Steve and JM!!

I was disappointed by the episode, knowing what was going to happen.
The only way Steve gets to final two is taking himself. Vanessa and Liz will take each other.
By the way, the edit on BB tonight is a bold-faced lie. Steve said on live feeds four times that he threw veto. I don't know what to root for---Steve to get the comeuppance he so richly deserves for being a wuss and not wanting to play a part in his surrogate mommy's ouster (Bates Motel, anyone?) or him to win so he can take out Vanessa.
Honestly, if he cuts Vanessa at three, he deserves to win. And he might actually at long last have the guts because it'll be a quick cut---he won't have to see her crying and hysterical on the block.

Austin wasn't deluded. He could've won. For one, he has history on his side; a man has never lost to a woman in final two.
Secondly, he could've had Julia and Liz's votes as well as Vanessa's depending on the scenario, and Meg and James upon their eviction thought Austin was playing a great game. Goblins would be inclined to favor Austin over Steve.
I don't think Steve or John would've beaten Austin.

Vanessa wins part 1. Steve wins part 2. Hope is still alive. If Steve cuts Vanessa at final 2, he becomes one of the top 10 BB players of all time in my opinion and deserves the money. It's rare that someone really 'cuts the throat' metaphorically speaking of the person who is the best player in the game.
Here are my scenarios:
Vanessa beats Liz 7-2, with Julia and Austin voting for Liz. Liz is no competition for Vanessa's game.
Steve-Vanessa This could be 7-2 or 8-1 Vanessa, at best 6-3. Austin, James, and Johnny Mac could vote for Steve, but Vanessa could make the better arguments and has the "girl power, let's have a female winner" argument. I am tired of hearing about how a woman has never beaten a man, boo hoo hoo, because every male who beat a woman to win the game deserved to in a walk. Will beat Nicole, Boogie beat Erika, Dick beat Dani, Andy beat Gina Marie... Not even close in any case
The most interesting speculation is what happens if Steve takes Liz. I would say it's 6-3 or 7-2. I feel that girl power goes out the window when it's somebody like Liz who I don't think can articulate her game... although goblins have their antipathy toward Steve. Meg and Jason were nasty to him from the first, and he did evict Jackie. A Liz win over Steve will honestly piss me off.

Steve's winning argument: I split up Austwins, I took out a member of an alliance that never had my back (goblins), and I cut Vanessa, a woman who had a hand in putting all of you in the jury house. Any questions? But he can't be too cocky about it. If Steve comes off mean or unlikable, he could lose it all.

Yes.
He's already practicing his speech to evict Vanessa and his remarks to the jury. If he's in final two and evicts Vanessa, there should be no reason for him to lose.

Rational thinking has no place in Big Brother voting

Did you guys vote for America's Favorite? I voted for Johnny Mac a lot, plus I gave a token vote for James and Jason because I really liked them.
I found a neat graphic with past winners of America's Favorite: James, Keesha, Jeff twice, Frank, Elissa (weak field in the "racist" season), Britney, Donny. I thought Janie won, too.
Post by abbandkaa on Sept 21, 2015 20:04:05 GMT -5
To win, you don't have to be likable, that's for sure. I think she would rank up high, but best? I mean, a case could be made. She ensured the eviction of every single guest in the jury and beyond. No other player can really claim that.
Post by osumelissa on Sept 22, 2015 8:35:35 GMT -5
I would say Vanessa would be in the top 2 of female winners. If Steve wins, I don't think he holds a candle to most of the male winners. To me, Will will always be the best BB player.
