Probably 3 days a week on average. I had two ladies over last night for drinks and kid dinner, we are having a friend over for dinner tonight, and typically on Friday, if we are in town, I invite a couple of families to come over before or after dinner for our kids to play, while we visit.

Lately, not very often. We are getting ready to move, so the last thing on my mind is entertaining.
That said, we are generally the ones who entertain among our social circle and enjoy doing it. Our new house will be larger and more open (and thus conducive to entertaining), so I would hope to have people over regularly (say a couple of times a month) once we're settled.
One person at least weekly... I also host my moms group every couple months and my dinner club once every few weeks... I also host monthly Friday night meatball night... Have brunch with friends everybody's in a while... I like having people over.

1-2x a month on average. I like having people over. But I don't need (nor have) the bigass kitchen that everyone on House Hunters says they MUST have for entertaining or else they will just die.
Hell, we entertained enough in our previous 750 sq. ft. apartment even after DD came along.
My parents are here a few times a month but that's really it. We don't have many friends in the area and our closest friends have an autistic son that does much better in his environment, so we just go there instead.
I did host Christmas at my house last year for H's family and my parents but by host I mean sat here and watched everyone else do things because I was mega pregnant and had 2 babies 3 days later
We have adults to whom we are not related over maybe once a month on average (like hosting a dinner party or having another family over to hang out). Family members and my kids' peers are over more often.
So, you're new in town and solo parenting, and you're managing to throw a party. I'm a failure.
It really varies. Sometimes, we'll have a flurry of activity, and other times, we'll go months without hosting anyone for anything (save for family visits).

So basically greencrayon is holly116. Manage to accomplish way more then any mere mortal can.
Once or twice a year for adults socializing without kids. My friend and her daughter come over all the time for play dates in the summer when we are both home though.
