I loved Edmond's and Swapnil's outfits! What confused me was when they called out last week's winner (Ashley?) for using mostly muslin. Hers looked like it was mostly cards. Was it really that much muslin?
Adding Edmond to the dreamy list. It's another reason I'm glad he and Swapnil made such great clothes; here's hoping they stick around for a while.

I didn't notice the muslin, just that is was a garment bag with arm holes in a weird place.
I'm apparently pretty bad at "fashion" bc I am often completely opposite of the judges. But that one I knew would be a loser.

I knew it was bad, but they specifically said she didn't follow the rules, which confused me.

I really loved Kelly's look and wish it had won. That top was amazing. I really liked Swapnil's design as well. The back of his top was amazingly executed.
Edmond's skirt was made from big sheets of paper, so I'm not sure where those came from. I thought it might have been from the bags they brought the cards back in, but there isn't any printing on them.
I think Ashley and David used similar amounts of the cards. She really phoned it in and that's so disappointing. I would have liked David to stay, but I don't blame the judges for giving him the boot.

My theory: novelty jumbo cards and/or their envelopes.

In my memory, that seems to happen a lot. Someone will win, and then either feel so much pressure they crash and burn the next time, or use their immunity to just go wild and take a huge risk.
I loved the wedding dress. I was waiting with anticipation the whole runway show. It's also awesome that he has waited so long to make the show and has done so well so far.
Right?! I was so happy for him. He's worked so hard to get there. I'm like, go 'head brotha! Show up and show out! Love him!
I liked Swapnil's (sp?) Skirt and would love to wear something like that. I thought there were way more than 2 bottom looks and couldn't believe how many people they let slide by. That pink envelope skirt was horrible.
I don't understand why the guy with the pink and purple monstrosity didn't get chewed out for having a mostly fabric dress. He only covered the middle section, the rest was straight up (heavily glitter-ized) Muslim. Awful.
I have to revive this thread (now that I am caught up) because H and I spent a solid 24 hours confused/pissed off about this. And LOL @ "Muslim."
Are we allowed to discuss Ep. 3 yet? Also, there was one makeup look I really liked this week that I tried to look up online. Mary Kay does mention PR on its site but, alas, no tutorials for any of the looks.
