Guys, I killed these interviews today. Both asked for references. I hope I end up in a position where I have to choose. Now back at my mom's house and she's making dinner before I head back to the airport for an 830 flight back to Atlanta.

I am very frustrated with my current job. I have been working in the same school district for 15 years. I have applied for a principal position twice and have been skipped over. I have the experince and education needed for the job. Our district is political and if you are not connected you do not get the job. I know I need to apply to other districts but I am honestly nervous about leaving.

So, I've had nothing but radio silence from the job that called me last Friday (see my post from Monday). Should I follow up? If so, I could use some help with a script...

So is it bad protocol to apply to multiple jobs within the same company/university? I'm trying to focus my job search to either state or university jobs for a number of reasons. I've seen multiple different jobs advertised within universities but they are in different areas. I'm in accounting if it matters and I really want to get out of public accounting and I'm not sure I want to do corporate either after I did an internship in corporate accounting.

Yes. I'd just say that per last week's conversation, you are calling to follow up.
bostonmichelle, I don't think it's bad, but I wouldn't apply to more than two. Odds are the same hiring manager/internal recruiter will get duplicates if you do more than that anyway.
