how do I put a photo in the bottom of my posts, is it a signature?

Yes, it's a signature. Copy the image URL & paste it between IMG tags ( [*IMG]url[*/IMG] without the stars) in the signature box on the modify profile page.

I have been trying to figure this out as well and I guess i am obviously not doing it right. If I do it from photobucket, do i just copy the url? when i go to the siggy box it is just empty, i see nothing like what is seen in brackets? Can someone help thanks

From photobucket copy the last code (IMG code) then go to Profile -> Edit Profile -> Personal and paste it into the signature box.

when I do this the picture is enormous.  How do i make it smaller?

You can add a width= tag to the img code, like:

[IMG width=200]http://www.url.com[/IMG]
Just play around with the number until you get the size you want.
