Why is the narrative that all the women hate each other?
Say what not? Is that the narrative? There is so much beef in music, it's not even funny. Music beefs didn't start with women, that's for sure, and most of the ones happening now don't involve women, so I don't know where you're getting this.
Also, Miley said the quote was twisted by the NYT. I don't buy it. Unless NYT purposely put words you never said into your month, there is nothing about what she said that could be misinterpreted due to tone. She basically said Nicki is not a nice person.
Oops. I thought that was Khloe Kardashian. Didn't watch.
Well that's all I hear about. Taylor hates someone. Mylie hates someone. Niki hates someone. That's just off the top of my head.
Then you're either not paying enough attention to what is happening in pop culture or just zeroed in on what is happening with women, which is fine, but doesn't make you knowledgeable enough to be talking about some narrative that doesn't exist.
All the big female names seem to have animosity with one another. This can't be surprising information?! I don't follow top 40 music closely but this seems to be the narrative about pop female artists today that rises to the top.

I completely disagree with you. I think I'm pretty up to date on pop culture and in the weeks leading up to the VMAs the narrative WAS Taylor versus Nicky (which is why we were all supposed to think it was SO GREAT that they lip synced their dumb songs together), there was the Miley versus Nicky shit, Taylor versus Avril Lavigne (because she's still relevant?). Guys start Twitter fights and it's seemingly downplayed or it's supposed to be "funny" because they're satirizing the girl fights. (Like Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris).
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

Careful. Pointing this out will get you in trouble.

Please refer to the list above. You're so up to date you don't know her name is Nicki? No shade, but come on. MANY people are beefing and it's hardly just women, and moreover, as always, the beef between men goes to the next level. Call me when Miley and Nicki are literally fighting in a club, then I'll consider this.

::record screech:: What? What is this? Do I care to know?
Like I don't even follow these people and somehow I even read or heard about Taylor and Avril and their "drama" and then ending it. Is this the only way Avril can get attention these days?

That being said, I don't know how ANYBODY could have missed the One Direction beef. Because Zayn got CALLED OUT BY ALL OF TWITTER of that shit, and even had to ask them to leave him alone about it.
Zayn is a damn mess. I debate regularly whether to follow him on Twitter just to keep up with his drama but I keep deciding that I can't get it up for his nonsense. Then I find myself looking it up when US Magazine tells me he had another meltdown...
