If the only thing bothering you is utensil marks, you can clean them up with Barkeeper's Friend. I use it on my Fiestaware.
Ooh this is good to know! Our ikea set got all marked up in a short time but maybe it wasn't the 365 line. Otherwise I love them. There's a large, shallow bowl piece that's perfect for big dinner salads.
It has more to do with your silverware than the dishes, so the line shouldn't matter The marks aren't really scratches in the dish. It's just a mark left from your silverware.
We've been using Crate & Barrel Aspen every day for 10 years. They're pretty cheap (around $5 for a dinner plate) and have held up beautifully. The kids use the salad plates and it's the perfect size, IMO.
We have these too, still in like-new shape. We got them from our wedding 8 years ago.
We have Martha Stewart Whiteware from Macy's that we recieved as wedding gifts. Love them. After over seven years of use, only one small chip on a salad plate.
Anyone have ones they love that have held up well? I bought a set from target and they almost instantly had those grey marks all over them from our silverware, does anyone know what I mean? I don't mind paying a little more if they will last more than a year or two.
