Aren't they monitoring the weather/climate in a place that just happens to be polar bear territory?
Either way I get why they wouldn't want to kill the bears, but man I'd be scared.

One of my coworkers spent some time in polar bear country. They didn't send any groups anywhere without a high powered rifle.
Heck, when I had a job that helicoptered me into grizzly territory far from road access we were provided guns and taught how to use them on work time. And grizzlies are way less scary than polar bears.
I retract my statement- they should have guns just in case.What if they finally decide to attack? That house has a 3 little pigs look to it- I feel like a few leans from Mr. hungry polar bear and that door is coming down. Although the windows are nice and small.
That place looks really warm for a polar bear. It makes me sad.
I KNOW Were the meteorologists going to asses the situation of how much we humans are destroying their home? (Cough, only to have any environmental efforts shot down by Congress, cough)
