If someone showed up at your door and offered you $1million - would you change your vote?
Canadians - I considered this. Let's face it, the tax breaks here and there are ways to 'buy' your vote. But where is the line? For me kids tax credit and baby bonus is not enough and I disagree with the idea of it anyway for all families.
But if someone offered me $1 million, could I vote for Harper? It's tough. I admit it.
Americans, could you vote for Trump?

In Canada...sigh, I would have a harder time passing up $1mil...but probably not. I hate Harper and the Conservatives but I could live another 4 years with them. If I had to vote Conservative for life? No way.

As much as I don't want another Conservative government I would do it. I live in a riding that is very, very NDP (I think it was somewhere in the ballpark of 55% last federal election) so I feel secure that my one measly vote would not turn the riding blue.

Having that kind of money would be life changing. Even so, I would feel bad about my vote being bought and I'd wonder how rigged the election was. Robocalls were bad enough.

That's how I feel (Kansas). I don't remember anyone I voted for winning except Obama and he didn't get the KS electoral votes.

I'd be tempted to do it, but I don't know that I'd ever be able to wash the Trump off of me. Although, the local economy is very influenced by the military, I'm sure that would be good for the economy.


ETA: If I were to do it, I'd probably donate $100,000 to Planned Parenthood to east my conscience.

In college my roommate and I threw a big election night party and hung a poster with an outline of Texas, a toilet, and the question "Where did your vote go?"pver the TV.  My vote is meaningless so I'd easily sell it for that amount.
