Presidential election, maybe leaning no. Local elections? No.
I'm borderline puritanical about voting.
$1m to put some MLM ads all over my car like a tool for a year? No problem. Hell, I'll even drive that stupid Red Bull car with the can on top and pose for pictures.
My answer was yes until I saw Trump was the person I was being paid to vote for... eek I don't think I could do it and it is only because I think it would actually put my life at risk. I do NOT want that guy at the head of our military power.

Me too. I think I'd feel guilty and make like Lady Macbeth afterwards even though I live in an ultra-blue county.
Although the idea using the million to boost the Democratic vote is awesome...
POTUS election? No brainer. I live in a blue state, one vote won't suddenly change that.
If we're talking governor or something local, my county swings both ways, so I *might* have to consider it for 5 seconds...before ultimately taking the money.
What can I say? I really hate my condo, and with a million dollars, I could always move somewhere else (...that wasn't effected by said election).
I'd really really want to, but I don't think I could. Especially no when I lived in a red state, but even now in a blue state. I'd be too worried of democratic process breakdown and that a large majority of other voters have been paid to switch too.
In a heartbeat. I'd also consider it for local elections. The only elections I wouldn't consider it for would be the R primaries here which are the most important. Everything else is pretty much predetermined and my vote has no impact beyond letting the Rs know some people disagree with them.

Hell, I will change my vote for a tenth of what's being offered here. My one vote doesn't make a difference and a hundred grand will let me buy all the pretty things.
I am not bullshitting, but I admit I am definitely writing a story in my mind!
If someone is offering me, a resident of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, $1 million to vote for Donald Trump, then they legitimately think that my vote will help him win. I'm assuming they are paying off lots of other voters too. So in my head, this scenario is ensuring Donald Trump will win and no! I won't take $1 million for him to win Ohio. I really wouldn't.
If I knew that I was seriously the only person that was getting $1 million for one measly vote? Sure.

As long as I can verify I'm the only one getting the $1M and it isn't a widespread thing destroying the process sure would! I could live with myself giving one vote knowing that NJ won't go red no matter what anyway. And that money would be such a game changer in our lives, even if that was the pretax amount it would be a huge game changer. Show me the money!
I'm conflicted. Assuming, for some reason, I am the nation's swing vote, the money would significantly change our lives. But I feel like Harper in charge means 4 more years ignoring science and destroying the planet I live on. So money is great, but I also want to be able to breathe outside in 40years.
