She's in the dorms, right? Do RA's still have non-stop activities for their floors?
Yep, she is a dorm dweller. Her RA's room is right by her's
Also in fairness I know she is busy, she moved in early to be an OWL (Ohio State Welcome Leader) to help with move in festivities..and I did see I picture of her with President Gee, so I know she is alive

It's good to unplug for a while. She is outside, sitting in the square on a blanket, making lofty plans for her future. She's reveling in not being attached to a screen for a while. It's good for her!

She will be fine. OSU is a lot of fun. That's where I went to college and my brother is an upperclassman currently. There are a lot of things to do on campus and I'm sure the best thing for her right now is to be staying busy and meeting people. I'd be more concerned if she was cooped up in her room calling her mom all of the time.
Is there something nice you can do for yourself to keep yourself busy?
I think it will help when I finally don't think of all the every day things I do as things "we" did. She was my shopping, running/walking, nutritional, reading buddy. I mean she was basically an only child for 10 years...KWIM?
I started out on a run last night and put my earphones in (which I didn't do with she was with me) and started crying at the very first song played, so I ended up walking 2.5 and then walking the dog 1.75
My mother called my law school, who sent someone to look for me in class. When I wasn't in class they sent someone to my dorm. I was 24. Don't be that mom. She's fine.

Dude, I'm like two miles from her. Need me to go do some spying? I've been told I can pass for a college kid. I need some gladiator sandals, a high ponytail, and some big sunglasses though.
Maybe I'll just stroll casually by her place with a greyhound and see if she takes the bait?
I'd say it's a good sign. I was so homesick the first week I called my mom like three times a day. Not calling mean she's happy! Don't worry, she'll miss you soon and then she'll call.

She's totally fine.
My first week of college, I went to a drag show, went dancing at a gay bar (our orientation group leader took us all), and went to the state fair. They're probably keeping her so busy she hasn't even thought to check email or a phone.
