This headline is almost completely disconnected from any actual substance in this piece, but I still did a moaning wall slide. From Sky News:
Actor Tom Hardy has told Sky News he would consider stepping into Daniel Craig's shoes to play James Bond.
The star was speaking as he promotes his new film Legend where he plays notorious twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray.
In an interview with Esquire magazine earlier this month Craig hinted that Spectre may be his last outing as 007.
Many British names are being linked to the role, including Idris Elba and Hardy. Bond novelist Anthony Horowitz had to issue an apology last week after saying Elba was "too street" for the role.
While Hardy gave little away about whether he has been approached about the part, he said: "I think anybody would consider doing Bond, wouldn't they?"
Hardy, 37, has seen his star rise in recent years with high-profile roles in Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Mad Max: Fury Road and Warrior.
But as his profile has grown, so has interest in his personal life, with photos from his old MySpace account coming back to haunt him.
The images from eight years ago show the star posing in his underwear and are in stark contrast to the hard-man persona he has created.
But while the photos may have generated some headlines, Hardy said he has "no shame" about them.
"I've got no shame about my MySpace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat," he said.
"I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo."
The account has now been deleted and more recently Hardy has been spending his time away from the set recording Dubsmash videos.
His rendition of 50 Cent's P.I.M.P. was reposted on Instagram by the rapper himself.
Hardy was not only joined by his Legend co-stars at the world premiere in London last week but also took his dog Woodstock, known as Woody, down the blue carpet.
Woody, a Labrador cross, previously stole the spotlight as he posed next to his owner and his pregnant wife Charlotte Riley and at one point chased a pigeon.
Legend is released on 9 September and Hardy said playing both brothers on screen was not difficult but he preferred the younger sibling.
"I enjoyed them both at the end of the day but I responded to Ronnie better," he said.
"He's predictably unpredictable so there was more ability to play with a certain level of freedom, whereas Reggie is written as a straight lead which I find intrinsically quite boring."
I still think the "Idris is too street for Bond" business is utter bullshit, by the way. But H and I just watched Mad Max last night, and...lordy. Yes, please.

Yes! I didn't really know who Tom Hardy is, but I just Google Image searched and if Idris is too rough to play Bond, so is Hardy. Also, I would really like to see Mad Max now. I've got a thing these days for bearded tattooed men.
He is. The scene in Batman where he's looming over one of his minions cracks me up because you know he's standing on three telephone books, wearing Prince-boots, and has the camera hovering over his shoulder at just the right angle.

i love that movie he did with Chris Pine. he's so much smaller than CP and it just... works. but it's hilarious.
