I think our housekeeper just passively aggressively broke up with us.
She was supposed to come last Tuesday. Didn't show up. Which is really not like her. Hasn't responded to any of my messages. Also not like her. And I know she is alive because she posts on world status on FB and she is still active.
We had a great family weekend. We went and saw a replica of Lincoln ' s funeral train then went to the aquarium and DS was on his best behavior, but developed a runny nose and cough. And now my nose is stuffed and my throat is killing me. And we're supposed to leave for vacation tomorrow. Kill me now.
I need a fall coat. I have no idea what kind I want, so I don't know where to look. All I know is that I want something nicer than my usual hoodie. But not something as heavy as my winter wool peacoat.
I was just shopping for fall coats yesterday! I found two that I liked but I couldn't decide between either of them so I didn't buy them. They were both London Fog, but I think they wee last season because they were on clearance.
I woke up at 7:30 this morning looked at the clock and thought "oh, it's 7:30" and rolled over to go back to sleep. Then thought "shit! It's 7:30!" That is an hour and a half later than I should wake up. It's cloudy and weird here today. I think it's kind of raining. It was 108 just 2 days ago.
Also, this is the busiest time of the year for my job. April 15th is busy, but October 15th is deadly. I have zero fucks to give this year. I don't know what is wrong with my motivation. Tomorrow is also a big deadline and I'm on here instead. Someone needs to slap me.
I am not sure how accurate that is. Does it just count every movement I make as restless? Is moving in your sleep necessarily bad?
It's not accurate at all. It's just measuring your movements. The people that actually conduct sleep studies are very anti-fitbit re tracking your sleep habits. It doesn't track your actual sleep at all.
This is good to know. It was one of the major reasons that I wanted to get one.
I left mine in the house & realized it 1/2 way through my morning run. I've been here since Saturday & already lost a pair of reading glasses. Good thing I have a back up pair.
Also where is your bed from? We may need a new one.
Costco. I want to have its babies. The biggest downside is that it is HEAVY, so changing the sheets is a PITA. But it's a small price to pay.
I want this bed. I've heard so many positive things about it.
I'm finally getting around to hanging artwork. I don't mind that the previous owners left holes in the walls. I do mind that they apparently didn't measure anything. The holes are all a few inches away from center in places that you really have to center.

Jawbone is the best as tracking sleep, though I have no idea if sleep study scientists approve of them or not.
@majorwife - I see your avatar has shorter hair now. Did you end up getting it cut?

I think I've reached early menopause. My periods have been weird the last two months, and random spotting/cramps today, when I just had them two weeks ago. I have never been anything other than like clockwork my entire life. And I turn 41 next week. Boo. Way to rub it in, life.
I somehow ended up on the hot topic website. My inner goth teenage self wants ALL THE THINGS!
I went into a Hot Topic one day to check out their Manic Panic stash and some douchey kid sneered at me. I said "dude, I am you in 20 years. Suck on that." And left. Lolollll.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley
