amaranth ((hugs)) Has your doctor recommended anything?
We tried Chiropractic adjustment, but the chiro said I wasn't really messed up and so that was unlikely to be the cause/she couldn't help me.
I've met with a nutritionist and am now on a few pregnancy-safe supplements to test... but no change yet (it's only been a few days on them, and they said give it a week... so I can still hope).
I meet with my normal Dr. tomorrow and I'm hoping she clears me for some sort of magical pain killer I've never heard of. lol.

amaranth - Did they recommend magnesium or Coq10 supplements? Sometimes that helps people with migraines who can't take much else. It didn't for me, but I know it has for others. Alternatively, if you got really desperate you could ask about pericranial nerve blocks. That's what I've been doing during pregnancy since we eliminated Botox. They have been working really well and don't enter your bloodstream. My neurologist does them for me. Oh, or massage maybe?
Eta- I'd also start using something like mymigrainejournal.com to track patterns. It's helpful when you are trying to track dietary triggers.
I have a busy day actually. Went to the Sprint store because the camera on my new phone is jacked up. It's still under warranty, so hopefully they'll just replace it. They have my new phone at the moment, so I'm on my old one, boo. Fortunately, E was asleep throughout the entire visit at the store. I also have a haircut later today, so I'm hoping he'll be cooperative for that too.
wanderingenough I am on magnesium as one of my new things. What is Coq10? I haven't gotten a new neurologist since we moved but I will in two weeks to discuss the nerve block thing you mentioned if there isn't improvement.

It was another supplement than my neurologist had me try a few years ago with the magnesium. I just googled it to confirm dosage and it says pregnant women shouldn't take, so that's prob why they didn't recommend it to you. I want to say he had me try Riboflavin at one point as well, so you could ask about that.

amaranth I'm so sorry your migraines aren't getting any better I know it's not the same thing but I was REALLY sick with this last pregnancy and was non-functional about 75% of the time so I can empathize. I hope you find something that works.
Checking in while on vacation! We are having a blast and C has been the best! Great time with DH's BFF and wife! They are starting their first cycle of IVF after 5 failed IUIs and years of TTC. I really hope it works for them and it was nice to be able to show them support right now. We are in Lake Tahoe now and went for a 6 mi hike today! It was beautiful but very windy and cold- we even had snow flurries even though it was supposed to be a high of 60! Tomorrow we are going to Emerald Bay, which is also where my dad and step mom got married! Oh, and AF decided to return at 9 months PP...bad timing but thankful that things are starting to work again before I wean C in a few months. But it's also super light and no sign of it's arrival...bodies are weird!
Miss you ladies! The hotel Internet sucks and we have lots of cleaning to do for realtors tues and weds so I will likely be MIA til later next week.

Thanks. Non-functioning is non-functioning. I don't think you can really say one is worse if both people are miserable.
