I will be thinking of her and her family. I may have missed it- but can somebody link the blog if that is ok. I recall her posting a link last week. I've been thinking of her daily. Praying for a peaceful journey.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

As I sure some of you remember, shanbrite2 was in hospice back in February, just before the epic Denver Debauchery GTG. She felt well enough to make a brief appearance at the GTG via Skype, and because I'd never met her and hadn't interacted with her here a great deal (and I'm kinda shy), I didn't jump in the screen to say hello. I regretted that. But Shannon got better! She attended our local board's annual picnic in July with her husband and beautiful daughter. Not only did I meet her, we spent most of the picnic chatting. She was so friendly and kind and genuinely interested in us getting to know each other. She seemed so happy that day; she was radiating peace and joy. Sometimes we meet people, however briefly, who have a profound effect on us. Shannon is most definitely one of those people, and I feel privileged to have spent a lovely afternoon with her.
Anyway. Sorry to ramble. I just felt like sharing. Love, light and peace, Shannon!
